The job called for the installation of a new electrical panel box, plus a transfer switch for use with my generator. The panel when installed had a 1/2 gap on the side of the panel. Also, the panel was not grounded as the code requires. No effort was made to repair the problem The transfer switch also had unfinished trim around it as well. I called repeatedly to have my concerns addressed, but no one would return my calls. Finally, had to call another company to come out and properly ground the box DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM HOME ADVISOR...

Herring Electric showed up when they said they would and installed the agreed circuits and equipment as advertised. I showed the electricians the path I wanted and asked for an interior switch. They used a different ( and more difficult) wiring path and forgot the switch. That said, I do have power to my pool and RV where I didn't before.

They came out and put in one breaker. Two electricians for a one man job and charged me more than $400. When I questioned the bill the lady said she was going to ask the boss and get back to me but never called back. Very disappointing customer service and way over priced. Will definitely not use again.

"In response to this.... His credit card declined and when I called for a new form of payment he decided he was disgruntled. This job was quoted and agreed upon prior to doing work. We are very proud to be an accredited member of the BBB and you can not find a more honest company than us. We are sorry he felt this way but, he should have declined our services prior to starting the job if he thought we were overpriced. We offer free estimates so there was no cost to him for us coming out to quote the job"
