Sam has managed painting projects at my personal residence, my in-laws’ home, and an investment property, including both interior and exterior work. Absolute perfection! Was in a crunch needing to get a custom home completely painted out after being rescheduled 3 different times from previous paint contractor. They listened and followed through with every detail and left like they were never there! Can’t thank them enough! Would use over and over again. Hett Painting Group did an amazing job on the exterior of our house. The prep work, repairs before painting, communication, and final walkthrough were all great. Overall, such a good experience. Our house looks SO good, but the biggest selling point for me as a busy mom was that having them paint didn’t disrupt our life at all. I had to come and go a lot for school drop-offs, errands, etc., and they were happy to untape and retape so I could get in and out. That kind of flexibility and thoughtfulness meant a lot. I would recommend them to anyone needing updates to their home’s paint.

As a first time home owner, this was also my first time hiring a paint company. I couldn’t have chosen a better company. They made everything so easy. Sam came out and helped get a same day quote. He was also able to get a crew out just a few days later. Everything was super professional and made me feel super confident from the start. The crew was also just fun and I was happy to have them at my house. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. I trusted the process and Hett Painting Group delivered. They tied up all loose ends and were very detailed. I have a house I can be so proud of.

So I've used Sam and co at Hett Painting Group for a few jobs now and I am pleased to report that I have reached the holy grail in professional contract work: 100% trust in integrity, The work has always surpassed expectations, I don't even bother getting 2nd and 3rd bids anymore. This is a business that has treated each of my jobs like how they'd want jobs to be treated in their own homes. I wanted to take a minute to share my experience and express my gratitude thus far: The first job I had him do a few years back, we were selling my parents' old house and needed it to look as sharp as possible as quickly as possible; they had a color expert who dropped by and it made a huge difference. We thought we had good taste, but we there are certain things that we just didn't understand in color pallets and I think taking the expert advice got us extra value from selling the home; But the thing that I will forever be grateful for is this: he got us a crew on Christmas Eve to finish the job 3 days ahead of schedule as a little Merry Christmas to us as he could feel our stress to get the house on the market. Job number two was about a year ago with some really complicated wood detail work that involved sanding and staining a few hundred square feet worth of wood molding, built in desks and cabinets in what probably had be a cool high end home office in the 90s, but it looked pretty bad (honestly I thought it was a total scratch job), but I sorta called a Hail Mary and texted Sam some pictures to to see if there was anything he could do short of tearing the whole thing apart... and... he more than came through... His crew's patient sanding work and darker staining work, along with beautiful accent color coordination, transformed what felt like a lost cause into a Restoration Hardware Magazine front cover look... and I can't even begin ballpark how much he saved me. We get so many compliments on it; it's a true stand out piece. Job number three (2 weeks ago) we have 10 solid wood French doors in the back of our house that were once pretty cool but they've kinda begin to look like they've had kids which dirty shoes kicking them and some weather damage on them for about 20 years. So we knew we were going to have to get them replaced; For the lowest quality we were looking at from 3 different bidders we we're quoted $35k, the high end was $60k. I was beginning to think me might just live with it, but I decided I'd give Sam a call just to see if there was anything to be done. Once again, he came through, calmly told me what would be possible and what to expect, he in his top guy for this kind of specialty work that takes serious patience and careful repairs to the wood and sanding...They look incredible and we saved a ton. I am hoping I have so before pictures so I can post them... I will look. These guys can do high end detail work and big jobs and everything in between with high level communication, professionalism, integrity, and I got this special feeling they really give a care and take pride in what they do. They are currently finishing painting the full exterior of our house right now and I have hired them to do a larger commercial job for some medical clinics remodels, and their portion is the one part of these remodels I am not in the least part stressed about.
