Very difficult to get someone to do a small job. He was great.

Quoted me price of $50/hr charged more than time spent. Over applied stain, instead of returning 3rd day he slathered on the stain HEAVY which took over 1 week to dry, yes 1 week and even then very tacky. Never came back to finish steps. Did not have bill prepared, I had to write out invoice. Gave him $100 less than he wanted based on his hours worked. Nice person, but won' t be hiring for my garage painting.

Home Advisor doesn't give you a choice of cleaning gutters. That is what I had done. I believe he did a good job, but the future will tell. The cleanup could have been better, but in his defense they were quite dirty, with plants growing out of them. He also removed the mesh coverings that were clogged with moss and didn't charge me extra.

Arnold is very nice and responsible. He does great work and his price was very reasonable. I am looking forward to having him do more work for us.

Kieth did a great job, Was on time and got right to it. He completed the work in less time then originally estimated. The bill from Abraham was adjusted to reflect the time worked. That is the type of company you want to do business, Reliable and ethical. I would recommend without reservation. In addition, they provide other services. We just hired them to do shingle work for us. Work will be starting in a few weeks. Again, fair price quoted. You should use them.

We have one mistake that needs correcting, but Arnold is still tops with me. His estimate was reasonable, the work was done when he said it would be done and there were no additional charges. I will use him again for upcoming projects, which we have already discussed.

Mr Hewitt explained in great detail what it would take to do the job. He came on time the next day to do the job. His work is very good and of professional quality. His price was fair and reasonable. I would definitely recommend, Mr Hewitt to my family and friends.

Did my project fast and efficiently

Professional, reliable, very accommodating on a short notice. He did a great job in a timely matter, and was reasonably priced. I felt comfortable with him from the first phone call, and I will not only use him again, I will also recommend him to family and friends.

Mr. Hewitt has a great personality but did very substandard work and showed little concern about time management. had to be told repeatedly to complete task and complained that he had to do certain task. He never finished what he was hired to do. The only way to hire him is to provide constant supervision. We let him go.

Timely and trustworthy

Edited 9-2017 As an out of state owner, I thought I had a trustworthy competent handiman that would take care of my rental unit fairly. While I was present at the property, he did a pretty good job, priced fairly and communicated well. Months later after I left, the house developed a roof leak around the AC unit. He repaired it, repaired it again, kept leaking, repaired it again. Finally it stopped leaking and he went to my tenant saying I authorized payment. I did not! He never contacted me even with a work order, which I requested before I would authorize paying him. The unknowing tenants paid him and took it out of their rent. He had done extensive work for me previously and made thousands of dollars, but lost me as a customer over $675. I had his work checked & have pictures (because I have no receipt, work order or any paperwork) and he did minimal roof repairs worth under $200. I never would have authorized $675 for a couple hours work.

Stuck with the job until done to my satisfaction. Pleasant and careful of my apartment.

Would hire him again, experienced and done-to-earth.

That it was expensive

he took longer than he estimated but he came back and did what was needed until job was correct.

Nice enough to talk to but work ethics is totally messed up in many ways. Has no shame in doing grossly bad work and acting surprised that you don't like it. Replies with, didn't think it would matter. If I could send pictures you would be shocked.

Very down-to-earth. Seemed to know what he was doing.

Despite having made a sight visit three days before, he didn't come prepared with the proper equipment to do job. He left saying he did his best but he didn't know how long the repair would last. Repair consisted, among other things, of reinstalling some soffit that had fallen during a storm. He needed to bring a lift but instead showed up with a couple of ladders. The location of the soffit did not facilitate using anything but a lift of some sort. Also, He was told during the sight visit that we also wanted some fascia replaced. He either wasn't listening or just wanted to his own thing for pocket change. He told me later that he didn't have the proper equipment to bend fascia. As a side note, his old van dripped oil in my driveway leaving me with another job. Bottom line, HomeAdvisor should not be working with this company.

They were very friendly and did a great job - my sliding doors are doing great. They were going to be a few minutes late and called me before the appt. time to tell me.

Doesnt know the first thing about hanging interior doors. Ruined 3 out of 4 doors. Nearly busted a hallway light and chipped the paint on the corner of my hallway. Sadly put a handle where it shouldn't of been on a bifold door knowing the door wouldn't open with the placement . Reeked of cigarette smoke also. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Sickens me I had to pay them. He must of ran to the bank with my check as it posted to my account shortly after they left.

I would not have hired this contractor because he quoted a price of $200 for a job that took less than 15 minutes. But, I am selling my home and needed the work done right away. I felt the price was inconsistent with the value of the work performed.
