Hewson Landscaping

I found this landscape company through Angie's List. He came out and gave me an estimate to weed my small yard. It would be $1200 for the entire project. This would include pruning. He came out and weeded on three different days. He got the yard maybe 3/4 of the way completed. However, by the third time, he had decided he did not like weeding and his back hurt. He actually told me it made his back hurt. So he changed it from a $1200 flat rate to now it's going to cost me $75 an hour! And that I owed him all of that money even though he didn't finish the project. He never finished weeding, and he didn't do any pruning.

He was great and got the job done quick and well. Not many complaints besides when I asked him to try and fix our toilet, he took a huge poop and clogged it. I had to call the plumber but he apologized and was a great service.

Torin was prompt and worked diligently, going above and beyond. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Did not do what was asked, clear flowerbeds of leaf litter.Trimmed hedges but left trimmings between house and hedge. Did not leave yard/street clean, did not trim arbor I had to clean up after the Cleanup guy.

I hired Hewson landscape to do difficult and extensive brush and blackberry vine removal on a steep slope next to my house.. He also removed a thicket of sprouts from several stumps.. Torin had the equipment and knowledge to do the job and went at the task with enthusiasm. Even after unexpectedly getting swarmed and stung by hornets (from a nest hidden in the brush) he came back and finished the job (once i sprayed the nest). Torin is friendly, responsible and a hard worker who I would highly recommend.
