This was my second project with HEXAGON CONSTRUCTION and by far the largest and most complex. (Replacing an old, clay tile roof on a three story house is no job for a rookie.) HEXAGON’s owner, Eli Vatkin, is what everyone should be looking for in a contractor. He’s knowledgeable, reasonably priced, trustworthy, responds promptly to any concerns that you have during the project, keeps you apprised of its progress, finishes on time, and generally aims to please. His contracts were straightforward and “by the book.” On top of that, he’s a genuinely nice guy. Rarely will you find all these qualities in a contractor—and I’ve been around long enough to know.

It is very rare to find a company in this industry that offers honest prices, great customer service, full transparency and real time live updates. I highly recommend using this company for your solar needs.

We recently entrusted Hexagon Construction to do a variety of repair and remodeling work around our house and Iâ m pleased to say that the results exceeded our expectations! After meeting with a myriad of different companies, we chose to move forward with Hexagon because of the owner, Eli Vankin. He took the time to listen to what we were trying to achieve, then designed a plan to meet our goals within our budget and timeframe. Our project included: 1) attic insulation removal/upgrade, 2) pantry shelves design/installation, and 3) laundry room redesign. With each project, Eli and his different crews worked diligently to complete the jobs to our total satisfaction while staying within a reasonable 30-day timeframe. Hexagon (and Eli) deserve 5-stars all around. Weâ ll use them again without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone looking for a honest, top-level construction firm with wide ranging expertise!

Hexagon Construction recently completed a large-size solar addition to our home, and I couldnâ t be happier with the outcome, top quality, total professionalism, I would highly recommend Hexagon as a 5-star service provider. We had been considering solar for our home for some time and I had done in-depth research, taking bids from multiple companies. Ultimately, we selected Hexagon primarily because their owner/principle, Eli, took the time to meet with us several times, walk us through the details of the project and answer all of our questions (sometimes the same questions more than once!). Eli is very knowledgeable and thorough, his patience and dedication to getting us comfortable with the work they would be doing, the steps/timeline involved, costs, materials, etc. etc. is a testament to the importance of knowing your customer and providing actual customer service. The job itself went smoothly and Eliâ s crew were also knowledgeable, respectful, and professional while at our home. Also, to note, barring a couple uncontrollable weather delays, once started, the end-to-end process from prep to installation, inspection, and permission to operate, followed the timeline that Eli laid out upfront. This is of key significance to me because in dealing with many contractors/projects over the years, often, the timelines provided can be overly optimistic and/or not fully thought through, so that fact that Eli gave concise estimates and actually delivered on them, that goes a long way in my book, separating Hexagonâ s capabilities and trustworthiness from the rest of the pack. We'll certainly be using Hexagon again in the future.

I make it a practice not to write online reviews, good or bad, but this warrants an exception. Eli at Hexagon Construction came through for me with an expedited two-day replacement of a section of my clay tile roof just before the latest drenching rainstorms hit in Los Angeles. I cannot thank him enough. He was extremely easy to work with, fair, and stayed on top of the entire process from start to finish. He also had an exceptionally efficient and focused crew that showed up on time, used quality materials, and cleaned up well before leaving. The process was essentially turnkey. Iâ  ve used many contractors over the years, and I can attest that this was my best experience yet. I cannot recommend Eli and his company enough.
