came within 2 days of my call to service my refrigerator, great problem solvers, found the way to complete the job in I/ 2 an hour. Price was half of what I was quoted from two other companies. Garret and Urick were very pleasant and professional. High desert would be the only company I would use again.

The problem was quickly diagnosed. the work was done properly, after the part was ordered. the only small concern was the receipt the emailed receipt was smaller than a postage stamp and could not be read, even when enlarged.

My fridge has an ice maker that freezes up annually and needs to be thawed. I've had them out 3 or 4 times to deal with it and the fee was always fair. This time is was double and very poorly handled by the tech (Steve) who had very poor communication skills. I spoke to the owner about it and he wasn't just unsympathetic to my concerns but he was not being nice about it. Such lovely quotes is "why don't you fix it yourself" or "we don't make the refrigerator". Really?? Thanks for the tip! It took a lot for me not to lose my temper with him. He couldn't of cared less about my concerns which is probably a sign that business is too good. Is it too much to ask to at least get "I'm sorry you had a bad experience" etc? Apparently so! Companies with bad attitudes need to learn they lose customers the same way they gained them, one at a time. Appliance owners unite! Let's not reward poor service and bad attitudes with continued business.

"Hi Eric, I understand your frustration with this on going issue, The manufacture has been struggling with a fix for this issue for a long time. The ice buildup at the back of the icebox is caused by an air leak that can develop over time allowing cool air to enter the icebox and mix with freezing air causing ice to form on components that control ice production. The result is no ice production. On this visit the technician was in the middle of installing the kit that has proven to fix this issue, however he observed another issue in that area that warranted contacting the manufacture and getting the unit put up for replacement review per the manufactures request when we run across it. This has always resulted in a manufacture replacement in each case that i am aware of for the particular issue.That was the best course of action at the time and as an authorized servicer for this manufacture we knew to look for this issue and how to handle it once diagnosed. I did listen to you Eric and worked with you on labor cost. We work hard to resolve our Customers issues and value each and every customer as well as our Reputation in the local community."

Ended up having to replace our fridge because the compressor was going out. But the repairman seemed very knowledgeable and helped us decide on what kind we should get for our new one. The customer service was also very professional and easy to work with.

Great service and help from the tech (Garrett) who actually came to house and did repairs ...only reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board was a slight problem with the office processing the charge to my credit card, however, they did resolve it !

The repairman broke the handle on the refrigerator. He told us he could not get one of the parts we needed. So now we must pay another repairman to verify what this repairman told us.

"I'm sorry we where unable to find parts to repair your refrigerator. As they get older parts become unavailable. From the Techs notes I see you had a sealed system leak and that another servicer had put a band aid repair on it already. Sealed system repairs are usually the most expensive repair you will need on a refrigerator and can make replacement look like a good alternative in some cases."
