"I was shocked to read the review that was on my site. The whole time I was talking to Jayson during the project he was very happy with everything. At the end of the project there were some things that needed to be addressed. I corrected all the problems that I know about except the hair line crack in the large concrete pad. In our contract it says concrete does crack at times. Problem's that were fixed 1. Handrail on the steps fixed at no extra cost to the customer. 2. Deck screws that missed the deck joist were repositioned to hit the joist properly. 3. Replace a stair tread board that had screw holes where a mid-rail post was removed to fix the rail system. 4. Any extra cost either material or labor had a copy of the invoice from our vender to support the cost and submitted to the customer with the final invoice. Why extra materials needed? Not all old materials can be used after it's been removed and you don't know this until it's been removed. 5. Delays in the project were due to a lot of the materials were special order and it takes 10 days to 2 weeks each time items were reordered. I did a final walk about and did not see anything else that needed to be addressed and sent out the final invoice. In our final invoice I tell the customer if there are any questions or problems to please let me know. I did not hear from anyone and received the final payment per contract. We use contracts to protect both parties and if the customer pays the final invoice you would think all is good. We have a one year warranty on all workmanship and a standard manufacturing warranty on all other materials. If the customer does not want to take advantage of our warranty, that's up to them. I wish I could say I'm sorry, but my company did what was listed on the contract and more to make you, the customer, happy. "Shirley B. contacted us to make a repair to her existing stone wall. When we arrived on-site for the initial estimate I explained that she essentially had a DIY Stone Wall. This was nothing a professional would have constructed. I informed her that the only way to properly repair this wall was to tear it down and rebuild it properly. This complete rebuild was not in her budget. We were able to make the repairs we were contracted to do in a timely manner. In regards to the cleaning, we returned one week after the repairs for a final cleaning of the project as our contract stated. The area was cleaned to satisfaction. I personally met with the customer to have her point out the "sharp" stone. During our follow-up meeting she was "unable to find" the stone in question. In regards to her complaint about the new Portland Cement not matching the product that was originally used to construct the wall. As I stated above, this was clearly a DIY Stone Wall construction and the proper product was not used on her wall. Without being able to properly repair the project the repairs were made with Portland Cement, which should be used on all Stone Wall Construction. I have finished photos for anyone that would like to see this project that I am more than willing to share. Our firm does quality work, we cannot help that budgets prevent certain customers from making proper repairs to their improper original product. Thank you for your time."

"I hope you are doing well and have had a productive week. We were contracted to complete Earl M. stamped concrete project and were able to remove the existing slate covered concrete pad and install a new stamped concrete landing back to the original dimensions. Standard Operating... procedure for all stamped concrete projects involving any coloring of the installed concrete is to provide the customer with a color chart of all available colors that can be added into the concrete ready mix for their project and allow them to make the color selection so we do not have any issues regarding the selected color. Earl M. upon completion of the project sent me the following e-mail: Jason,Your concrete crew finished up this morning and the product they left me with is very satisfactory. There were some issues however. Nathan has probably informed you of the damage to my lawn. I checked and estimate that there is about $100 in damage. Unfortunately, the damage cannot be repaired until fall and I am left with a damaged lawn until then. I prefer to do the work myself so the $100 is for materials only. Let me know how you want to handle this. At that time an invoice was generated and forward to the customer reflecting the discount requested. As the weekend progressed I was forwarded a second e-mail regarding the project and he indicated the following: Jason,Now that we have had time to better evaluate the porch we are quite unhappy with it. As you can see from the attached photo, it is a blotchy mess. When the porch was stamped the grey powder was evenly spread over the porch. But somehow between then and the sealing most of the color was lost. The result is something very unattractive. It has no resemblance to the slate look we asked for. Nor does it look like the pictures we saw of projects that were supposed to be similar.I look forward to hearing from you to determine where we go from here. I personally contacted Earl M. on Monday, August 3rd to discuss the project. It was confirmed by Earl M. that his issue with the project had nothing to do with the quality of workmanship, but the coloring of the new stamped concrete landing. I explained very professionally that since he made the color selection that there was nothing we could do to change the color of the stamped concrete without removing the landing completely and re-pouring a new landing. This is not something we feel liable for considering Earl M. made the color selection.I took the time to send him a photo of a past project we completed where the customer selected a much darker color during the estimate process before a signed contract was signed. At the time of the color selection it is up to the customer to make sure the proper coloring is selected. I have been in communication with Earl M. and was surprised to see him file a complaint with HomeAdvisor."
