My project was the painting of a large stucco and wood house, and garage. This involved patching the stucco and replacing wood. Two walls were replaced. Although the job took longer than it should have, the contractor worked with me to find ways to save money on the project. I appreciated that he kept an eye on my budget during the process. He was one of the lowest of 7 bids on the project. The final painting was perfect and greatly enhanced the house.

higher living siding compamy proformed very professional siding work to my residence. their work crew always arrived on time and completed the job in a timely manner. the price was a bit higher then some companies but i think it was worth every penny. i also appreciate the fact that the company owner and head crew leader was very professional and paid attention to all my request.

My project was a total kitchen remodel--demo to the walls and moving plumbing and electrical; installing new wood floors, cabinets, countertops, appliances and fixtures, lighting, tile backsplash, wallboard repair and painting. The work crew was skilled, dependable, and easy to work with. Because this is an old house, unforeseen problems cropped up, but the crew chief has a problem-solver's mindset. The crew often worked long hours to finish the tasks they had scheduled, and the actual installation took less than a week. I hope to use them again for future projects.

Jared and his crew were wonderful! Professional, on time, responsible and clean. When a follow up problem occured to the original project, he was there the next day and we've had no problems since. Highly recommended!!

The project took a little longer than expected, but it also grew slightly during the project. Overall we are satisfied. Excellent value for the price. I wouldn't say that it was "restoration" quality work, but it was exactly what we needed and came in pretty much on budget.

Jared came over and accessed the damage to my porch and got back to me that afternoon with a quote. I was thrilled with his timing and his quote. He was very reasonable. His crew was professional and meticulous. The whole experience was great.

Excellent craftamanship

They came in and did what we asked, plus fixed some existing carpentry issues. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They were all very professional. Great job!

Although the job started out kind of rough, Jared Manheim made certain that I was satisfied with the work performed by the end.

they installed bamboo flooring in a regular pattern with alternate joins all lined up, vs. earlier work done by another company with random joins that look much nicer. Because of this, HL ran out of wood and I had to buy another box. HL also dumped all the waste - old carpet, underlay, and empty flooring boxes - outside my front door, it was an eyesore and I had to pay to have it hauled away. I have also found one section done by HL that is not properly glued to the cement floor so it 'bounces' when you walk on it. I cannot recommend this company.

Jerrod was very responsive and they did a good job painting the exterior and interior of our home and performing some sheetrock repairs. We would use Higher Living again.

I have nothing bad to say about this company. They did a great job for us. They came in and built up from the subfloors, which was about all that was left after Katrina. We didn't even check references on them, we just got a good feel for them and the gut feeling was right.
