Joe Castro was very knowledgeable and helpful. He fixed a leading fill pipe and his guys poured the concrete over it. The entire deck concrete was redone and painted very professionally. I would definitely recommend Next Generation Pools.

Joe came to the house within an hour of my call. He quickly fixed the problem with the back flush valve. He answered all of our questions. He fixed the problem very economically and no leaking water from our system. A pleasure to deal with and he will be back on Monday with a leaf catcher for our cleaner. We met Joe serendipitously when he subcontracted for the company that installed the solar heating for our pool. He diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately and did an excellent repair for the sensors. Finding out that Joe was the owner of a pool service company, when our then pool service was barely adequate and had just informed us they were raising our chem service rate enormously, we talked pools and found him very knowledgeable and motivated. He also answered many questions we'€™d had that had gone unanswered by the previous company. We hired him on the spot a year ago for monthly chem service and are extremely pleased. He looks out for potential problems other than just pertaining to the chemistry and alerts us, always keeps the pool water crystal clear, is reliable and responsive, and genuinely cares about his customers and their pools. He treats our pool as if he and his family would be using it. When our pump needed replacement, Joe suggested an IntelliFlo variable-speed, programmable pump and installed it. It's quieter, saves energy, and turns on automatically if winter temps fall below 40 degrees, eliminating any worry about frozen pipes. We recommend him highly.

Joe is amazing. He found a crack in the fiberglass lining and worked tirelessly to find a repair person who he could trust to help finish the project. He stayed in close communication and didn't charge anything extra for the time it took to locate the person. He was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. His prices are such a bargain ! If there were SIX stars, I would have given him that score for sure.

We were lucky enough to find Joe when he installed our pool solar heating system as a subcontractor. We had gone through several other pool maintenance services with disappointing results. Joe has been servicing our pool for about a year. He is very reliable, responsive and knowledgeable. He doesn't just clean the pool. He regularly checks all the mechanical systems and keeps them operating properly. When he finds a problem, he always presents options and works hard to find us the best low cost solution. I actually called on behalf of a neighbor who needed help with their pool. But Joe was awesome over the phone, calling me not only once but twice after the job was done! Great customer service! Great fast, friendly and excellent service

I called Joe on a Saturday and him and his lovely lady were able to come out on Sunday and fix my problem. I didnt even get a response from anyone else till Monday. He was very honest and to the Point of what I needed. Would highly recommend Higher Standard Pools!

I only had Joe do an evaluation of the condition of the equipment. I could not evaluate work quality because I have a family member maintaining the pool. However, he was prompt and professional.

I have been extremely satisfied with his service of my pool, cleans filter, brushes pool, checks equipment and chemicals. When my pool pump broke during winter he came quickly and replaced it with a intelliflo pump which has already has saved me money. He is extremely knowledgeable and shows up promptly. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for pool service or repairs.
