I would recommend Maurice Perkins & Highland Construction to a friend with the caveat that they not pay him one cent until (1)everything is done, no matter how minor, and (2)any survey or other papers are returned. Maurice Perkins, owner of Highland Construction, did not return to replace decorative stonework that had been dislodged during removal of my old driveway and he did not return a survey map loaned to him to obtain a permit. The job was never finished, the quality of the work performed does not matter if it is not completed.

Very professional and provided quality service at a competetive price. I would certainly use this company again.

After receiving the estimate and I agreed to go with highland construction they were here the very next morning at 0730 and started the job. The job was better than I had originally though and the workers were all very friendly. The driveway looks great and I will definitely use them again.

Job kept being pushed back by weather and the communication wasn't as good as I would have liked. They did a Salt Rock Finish, but it didn't seem to work well, not many holes and friends have made comments it's not like it should be. I called to ask some questions, but he never called me back. Also several low places where water stands after a rain. Very nice young man though.

Excellent price and service. Arrived when they were supposed to. Maurice and his 3 workers did a great job and cleaned up the work area after they had finished. I will use them again if I have the need and would recommend this company.
