"Farhad, Thank you for your kind words and great review! We do work hard to give the best possible service. We enjoyed working for you and your wife. P. selected excellent matching wall colors. The wainscoting added, gives the foyer view the finishing touch. Thank you again for your first-rate coffee! Look forward to meeting again in the spring! Stan"
"Rodney, Thank You for Your Great Review! Highland Painting was just part of your coordinated plan to prepare you house for selling. You maintained a ?light? atmosphere....not always easy. Recapping, the wallpaper process you wrote about, is a savings to customers and gives superior end results! The ?paint matching caulk? saved us from having to repaint your trim. You also mentioned garage floor. The concrete paint we use is industrial grade, that provides years of a great looking, non-slip surface! From my vantage point, the work went as planned, even with ?Mother Nature? nudging us! We are very pleased we met your satisfaction! Highland Painting (Stan)"

"Russell, It was a sincere pleasure working for you. I believe your two color choices downstairs, blended nicely with the open room concept. They accent well, while give a cool inviting feel."
"Diane, Thank you for your wonderful review! When home damage occurs, owners naturally stress and loose sleep over what to do, but you are always up and positive. You are towards the end of restoration and will soon breath easier! We color matched from the previous painter and it is a very nice, warm wall color. We will be ready when you need us again. HIGHLAND PAINTING Stan McGinnis"

"Ms. B, First, you paid $750 to a handyman to paint majority of the interior of your 1905 sq ft house. You purchased BEHR paint, for his use to paint the walls. He left many inconsistencies on walls, ceilings, and trim, so you hired my company, for more money to ?repair his weak areas?. Specifically, our job was to ?touch up? walls, ceilings, trim and paint the master bedroom closet a non-white color. Second, the BEHR wall paint we used, was also purchased by you. You needed more BEHR paint, so you went back to the paint store. The person mixing the second 5 gallon, did not follow the original formula and the paint ended up a shade darker than the original paint used by the handyman. During my last visit to your house, I was trying to determine the mismatch, when you told me the wall paint we used, was bought at a later time, from the original paint purchase. Your main living area receives full sun. If it was this noticeable, you never mentioned a difference in the walls during the 3 ½ days we painted. Obviously, we didn?t see it either, otherwise we would have brought it up, quickly! We started on our work on Monday, December 18th, finished December 21st, you paid the invoice balance on December 23rd, and did not email me until January 4th of a paint mismatch. This is an eighteen (18) day span from day one. On my last visit, as I was leaving, I said to you with eye contact, ?This was not your fault and it wasn?t mine, but I feel responsible and I will make the walls right.? When I understood the problem was in the paint?entire walls had to be painted, including another cut-in.. I would have used my company provided paint. Before I could schedule that, (we had to coordinate our schedules) you brought in a third painter, I am sure, for more money. In your review, you said we did a great job on the crown and your master closet. We painted a ceiling, your chair and base molding. I provided the trim and ceiling paints from Sherwin-Williams. The point being, I?ve never had a formula paint mixed incorrectly. Paint companies use an exact mixture, stored in computers, for each color on a color chart. This is the formula. We used the paint that you bought, was mixed (incorrectly at the store) which you told me to use. I apologize for your concerns over your walls and truly wish we could have made them right for you."
"Every paint job we have, has drywall repair. Our current job has repair work in each room, before painting. I believe in your case, your past experiences with contractors, set up a difficult scenario, which I agreed to. You needed most interior spaces painted, but could only allow one portion completed, accepted, paid for, then move to the next portion. You made it clear contractors have failed to fulfill agreed work in the past and were disillusioned with the industry. I was determined to improve your opinion and told you I wanted your business. First stage was the 1/2 bath. Next, was painting the foyer, stairs, 2 bedrooms. Third, would have been family and dining room. Now as I reflect on the ½ bath work, this job scenario does not produce job efficiency and quality work. Most drywall repair is made at the day's beginning. The worker returns to painting, then periodically checks the repairs. In your case, I devoted one man to drywall repair and painting a small 1/2 bath, until completion. Myself, I split time between your ½ bath and a job twenty miles from your house. Seeing your displeasure, I said I would bring your uncashed check deposit, (I had it with me) and return it to you and work until the work was completed at no charge?. you declined. As you said in comments, I refused final payment. I am sorry, I did not measure up for you. Customer satisfaction is important to my company."
