They were quick and professional

They were very personable and seemed quite knowledgeable about what they were doing. However, they said it would be a 2 day job and, so far, they have been out here 3 days, with a promise to come back "on Monday" to finish. It is now Thursday and they haven't come back yet, nor have they called. We will be calling them today.

Robert, his son, and their entire crew were great to work with. Following a hail storm, we called Robert to do a damage assessment to determine if we should contact our insurance company. Robert inspected/marked the roof using the same standards as insurance adjusters, and told us the roof was a total loss. Robert was present when the adjuster came, and the adjuster agreed on the total loss. We had "Hail Resistant" Class 4 shingles on the house, but unfortunately, the adjuster made an error on his initial paperwork, allowing for only Class 3 shingles. Robert discovered the error, contacted the adjuster, provides backup pictures and our invoices/paperwork from when the Class 4 shingles were installed 8 years earlier, and secured the proper adjustment from the insurance adjuster. Once all of that was worked out, within a couple of weeks, Robert called and the new roof was installed the following day. We are very happy with the overall results! His initial estimate was right on-target with the insurance company. No unexpected overcharges! We know exactly what the insurance was going to pay and exactly what the total cost from Highlander would be! Robert is very professional and their work was outstanding! Anytime he called is was always, "Mr. this" and "Mr. that" even though I told him many times to call me by my first name. Unlike other companies which will tell you "what you want to hear," Robert tells it like it is....no fluff or BS! We would not hesitate to us Robert and Highlander Roofing again. Hopefully we won't have another major hailstorm, but if we do, Robert will be our first and ONLY call! One other plus.....the 10 year warranty is fully transferrable should we sell our house, which will be a great selling point. Thanks Robert! And to anyone reading this, if you need a reliable, trustworthy roofing company, Robert and Highlander is the first call you should make!

I am only giving a five star rating because that's as high as I can go. We have been through 2 rainy seasons since Highlander fixed our roof and no more leaks! If we were going to have problems, this past spring (2019) certainly would have revealed them. I had gotten 3 other estimates all coming in at thousands of dollars - the highest was 16K. Mr. Jackson eliminated all of our leaks for under $1000. If you want someone honest in a field where, unfortunately, a lack of integrity seems to be widespread, call Highlander construction.

Pros: Highlander guys arrived on time for my new roof. According to my Contract, there is 10 years warranty on my new roof. The color is beautiful and upgrade shingles are very nice. Cons: a copy of my personal check was sent via yahoo email by Highlander Roofing & Construction personnel. My bank advised me to close my bank account because most everyone knows standard email is not secure. Updated Review on November 27, 2019.

Very professional.

They called us almost immediately after I put in my request, on a Sunday evening. He came out the next day, Memorial Day, and gave us a quote. Work was dependent on the weather, but he was able to complete the job within one week. Very pleased, and will use them again.

The company owner was great to work with, I told him about another lower offer and he met their price, he was polite, well dressed and organized. The workers were polite too. They did great work and we're pretty quick about it. And our 10 year labor warranty is transferable to a new owner when we sell.
