Job well done.

Hired to cut down tree and grind stump. When came for estimate and quoted price, I mentioned that other competitor had quoted lower price , he lowered his price and then some!

They did the work however the crew that was sent to do the job seemed unsure as to what they were to do and we had to point out things that they missed. They asked us what we wanted done and they did what we told them to do. I just thought for the cost of the project they would have come in knowing exactly what to do.

After getting several bids we decided to go with this service to replace 3 large palms that were struck by lightning. . He was very friendly and helpful in the beginning. Unfortunately after we spent $1700 on trees wwe had a freeze. The purchase and planting of the three trees was in June, 2016. My husband and he discussed the fact that they were warranted for a year. We called him back in February and asked him to look at the trees. He said that they would need some food and would probably be OK. If not to give them a call back. We called him back in late March. At that time he said that The trees are only guaranteed or warranted for 30 days. If that is the case, why did he come and look at them in February and not tell me they were not under warranty ? Not only that, he was very clear with my husband that the trees were warranted for one year. Who in the world would plant $1700 worth of trees warranty for 30 days? Anyway, I would never recommend that you do any business with him unless you get everything absolutely in writing. And even then I think that a business that will not warrant the work is not a business you want to work with. I now have almost $2000 worth of trees that are dead in my backyard and my start all over again. However, at this point I am also looking at going to small claims court on this. he's not Honoring the guarantee. Secondly, why did he come back to look at the trees if he knew they were not warranted? He could tell us that on the phone. Then today he says that we could have bought a warranty but that would have been for only 60 days. His story is changing minute by minute. Then, again today, he says that had we bought a warranty no act of God would be covered. So what's being warranted? Again all of this is after the fact. I'm very displeased especially since I have used home advisor before with good results.

John (the head man) was very professional, articulate and did exactly what he quoted. You only pay when the work is to your satisfaction.

We had a large tree stump that needed to be ground. Highpoint responded quickly with a visit and estimate that was very reasonable. In just a few days, someone came out to do the work. He did a quick and thorough job of grinding the stump. He left the ground level and he was careful not to damage other plants when he was getting the equipment in and out of the back yard.

Great service that was both proactive and responsive. We had a period of bad weather that delayed the project but the owner kept us in the loop on regular intervals. The crew was professional and did a great job of keeping most of the tree debris from getting in the pool, since the trees abutted the pool and were 30 feet tall. I will certainly refer Highpoint to my neighbors and would use them again.

Highpoint was competitively priced, professional, insured, and service-oriented. They came out and finished the job (tree trimming) exactly when they said they would, and left the yard looking better than they found it.

John with Highpoint has been trimming our trees every year for 10 years. We have 2 big oaks in front yard that were overgrown. He recommended raising the canopy and thinning trees out to get more sunlight. Now the grass around tree is able to grow! We have recommended a few our neighbors who use them too.

Highpoint Tree Care is professional and knowledgeable compared to other tree guys we spoke to. They safely removed a big pine that fell on our roof. We now use them to trim our trees in front yard every year.
