Hill Country Waterproofing Service specializes in fixing leaks caused by rain, from the Foundation to the Roof. We specialize in roof repair of all roof systems. Many roofs need a repair or maintenance; not replacement. We also specialize in making repairs to the exterior of a structure having experienced damage caused by rain water: Rotting or deteriorating deck, facia, soffit, window seals, trim and foundation perimeter skirts. Hill Country Waterproofing also leads the market in the sealing of timber, wood, stone, brick and concrete. We have multiple levels of commercial grade sealants. We extend a five (5) warranty on any horizontal application and a ten (10) year warranty on any vertical application. We can even protect and warranty walls from paint graffiti. ($125.00 less than our minimum charge , kindness I suppose.) Second Estimate #1267 MAJOR LEAK REPAIR Remove top gutter Remove Shingles and underlayment exposing deck and leak area. Remove, replace and / or secure with metal any and all rotting deck substrate 2 year leak maintenance warranty. $1130.00 <162.50> 1/2 of first bid because we duality of work. A One Year Leak Maintenance Warranty is issued and serviced. After we have completed a minor repair and if the leak occurs again we come and make a second application. If the second attempt does not repair the leak. We then submit a Major Repair Proposal showing a credit back of Minor Repair Charge in total. A Major Leak Repair is issued an unconditional 2 year warranty. So here?s how things stand?. The front leak is under warranty, I will be glad to come back for the fourth (4th) water test and show water is not coming out of nails. The last water test revealed a very small amount of water did enter at eve soffit/gutter point and we made a repair. No water could be seen anywhere above that after extensive water flow. The water test prior to that one proved a small leak associated with the valley above as did the water test previous to that one {3 total} Note the bids make know mention of valleys. I sealed valleys (both front and back) not out of kindness but rather out of warranty obligation. My contention is the work performed is working and other than an inordinate amount of small pesky issues it is all but done. I would have you recall there was about 4-6 weeks ago a small but intense rain that hit Fredericksburg. It was two storms cells back to back that came from the west. Dispensing nearly and inch of rain with hard driving wind. You called the next morning to report it didn?t leak and no water was in the garage!!. (I have this conversation on record, all our business calls are recorded) I believe your report was true because I can?t make it leak like that anymore. You had called just days before when it was misting declaring it was leaking asking for more attention. Which we have performed. So long and short, the front area is under warranty and I will come and do yet another water test and see what I find. Please call office to schedule. The back leak is NOT under warranty. As our warranty stated it is a two step process. We have worked on it at least four times and one water test. Way over and above. The water test revealed rotting deck at the eve/soffit/gutter area. It is in need of Major Repair as well. So I will now extend the same deal on it as I did the first. MAJOR LEAK REPAIR Remove Shingles and underlayment exposing deck and leak area. Remove, replace and / or secure with metal any all all totting deck substrate 2 year leak maintenance warranty. $1130.00 <162.50> 1/2 of first bid because we duality of work.
