Communication was very difficult. Scheduling was hindered because of weather. And then again because of equipment. Took 3x as long to complete because of one this or another. Decent work though.

Job started later than I was told but I understand weather had them delayed. The crew never showed up at the time Dustin told me. Sometimes an entire week would pass and I wouldn't hear from anyone as to if or when they would be back. When I would call to check on the job they would usually show up eventually but still not completing the work. Then I would wait again and have to call to get someone back out. The wall and pergola look good but there are minor details that were not completed.

Dustin was professional and his guys were great. They were on time and dependable every day. They always cleaned up at the end of the day and the finished project was amazing. The sandstone retaining wall made a huge difference in our back yard. We love it and would hire them again.

Dustin completed a retaining wall that had been started by another company that was a nightmare to deal with. Dustin has great customer skills and completed the work as promised for a very reasonable fee. When we are ready to do our patio, we will be contacting this company.

Dustin and Keith created a beautiful new additon to our pool area . They extended into the yard with a flagstone patio and pergola and created a visually stunning entertaining, & dining area ! We are so pleased with the quality of their work and their first- rate crews that we are planning a fall project with them.

Excellent! flagstone patio was finished on time. Site was cleaned up as new. Highly recommended for anyoneconsidering any type of landscaping especially stone work.

Hillman Outdoor Living put in a new driveway, stone retaining wall, stone walkway, stone garden boarders, stone mailbox, and new fence for my home in Plano, TX. The end result is fantastic, and has completely transformed the outside of our home. Dustin HIllman was very professional along the way, and made recommendations during planning that I hadn't considered which improved the project outcome. They finished the project quickly, and paid close attention to detail. In fact, if Dustin wasn't satisfied with the work, he would have it redone to meet his expectations which were often higher than my own. I highly recommend this company!

I hired Hillman to reconstruct my backyard which sloped downhill towards the alley and has been eroding over the years. The project involved removing my old fence, constructing a stone retaining wall, filling with soil to level the yard, and installing a new fence. I worked with Dustin who couldn't have been better. He and his crew were 100% professional, courteous, and reliable. They took care any issue or concern I raised without hesitation. The finished product is perfect. My neighbor liked it so much, she hired them a week later for the same job to her backyard.

They went above and beyond to make our new rock wall and patio a place we can really enjoy, and they did it all for the price of the original bid even though it required more material and time.

We had a flagstone patio installed by Hillman and it turned out even better than we expected. The process of it being installed went just as the owner Mike had explained. All the labors were very professional and curtious. After the job was complete the professionals at Hillman left my property clean and in better condition than before with a beautiful patio we will enjoy for years. Dustin Hillman of Hillman Outdoor Living was very attentive. We are truly happy with the end results. The only suggestion I have would be for him to write things down. There were a couple of times we changed the plans or asked for small additions (minor things) and with him not writing them down, they did not get completed. Overall, he and the company were excellent and we WILL use them again!

Contractor did not do what he said he would do. I paid for moss rock and his workers put 80 to 85% of moss rock on the inside of wall, along with putting rip rap on face of retainer wall. Retainer wall begining to crack (not one year old)

I hired Hillman to add on to a retaining wall at my home. Dustin is an exceptional young man. He had his crew of 6 at my home early one morning and the work was completed in about 6 hours. They were professional, knowledgeable, and very polite. After the work was completed they took another hour and cleaned thoroughly even to the point of hosing down the street so no dirt or residue was left to adhere to the street. So far the wall still stands and I have no doubt that it will be there for a long time. I would recommend Hillman wholeheartly. We have already discussed future projects because I trust he will do a great job.
