We needed help installing cellular shades in our new house. We had just moved from Houston, where we had a great handyman. I thought it would be very difficult even finding one close to us! Thank goodness for Hire-a- Veteran! He did a professional job putting the shades up! Also helped us with another job soon afterwards. He really went above and beyond for us!

Tim is a hard working pro. Multi faceted and able to handle a variety of different projects. Went above and beyond to make sure the irrigation project was repaired. And it was extremely hot when this was done outside. You wont be disappointed in his work.

"Explained her Options Band Aid or Complete replace. Lots of Dry Rot, she choose to go with Band Aide. It was difficult to attach to the dry rot. did best I could with the restrictions I had."

Although he was friendly and courteous, Tim should not have taken on our door hanging job because it was too big for one person and beyond his level of expertise. The work he did hanging the first door (of the pair of doors) is unacceptable and I now have to hire someone else to re-do what he did so poorly.

"Homeowner returned home in the middle of a partially finished job and was visibly upset for some reason. He asked me to leave without compensation for 5 hours of work. The finished work would have included New longer and stronger screws for the size door we were working with. Also would have finished out with replacing the Old wood filler from the previous doors that were taken out. If aloud to finish it would have been a job to be proud of. Thank you for the opportunity to work on such High Quality doors."

I hired Tim and his assistant to install drawer poles. Out of the nine they installed, one was not level the other was not centered. They did not appear to know what they were doing.

"There was a misunderstanding of what level is. The drawer was not level she did not answer the question as to "level with the floor or level with the drawer front." I typically go with the most eye appealing I was wrong in this case. My Partner and I have a combination of 30 years doing Handyman work. I have 40 years in the construction business. We know what we are doing. We discuss the process before proceeding and agree to the direction."
