I cannot think of enough good things to say about Hoke Electric, Inc. They did both a large and small electric job for us. They answered our inquiries promptly. They were VERY knowledgeable and up to date on our area code requirements. They answered our questions and made explanations clear to us. They kept us informed as they progressed. They were on time, thorough, reliable and absolutely delightful. In the process of being clients we became friends. And…our dog really liked them, too.

I appreciate their professionalism. When they say they will be there ........they are there and if they are going to be late.....they call to let you know. This is our 3rd time using their service and always end up with a professional job....they do not take short cuts either.....best part of all........they cleanup their mess! This past time we had work done in our 75 year old basement........they put down a tarp on our basement floor and swept up after.........I work in the construction field doing final cleaning on projects and that is unheard of :)......Quality all the way!

Superior workmanship. This is the second project we've hired Hoke Electric for since they did such an excellent job on the first one. They offer solutions we had not thought of ourselves and are experienced on a wide range of household improvements and upgrades. We trust them to perform safe electrical from simple to complex. Josh and Kim were great! Initially called them to investigate power surges/brown outs after Nat'l Grid determined there was no problem on their end. Hokes came out the same day as contacted. For two days they worked in the rain and into the night to determine the source of the surges. No major problems were found in the house wiring so they determined the voltage fluctuations must be on the line side. After contacting Nat'l Grid a fourth time and informing them of the Hokes' findings, NG finally installed a new line transformer. Problem solved. Josh and Kim proved Nat'l Grid wrong. Imagine that! They know what they are doing and are true professionals, always polite and courteous. I would recommend them for any electrical needs and will be hiring them again myself in the near future for a service upgrade.

Josh was very personable and knowledgeable. He came to upgrade our panel as Nat Grid required before they would turn us back on because we had fuses instead of a breaker. He came right away & was affordable in price & didn't charge us just to step foot in my house which helped because my husband & I only get one check a month each. So, with a limited income, Mr. Hoke was a blessing! I will call him again whenever we need a licensed electrician again! Thank you!

Kim and Josh Hoke responded to my Home Advisor request almost immediately, came over and provided a quick and reasonable estimate for the work to be completed, and scheduled a time to complete the service that was quite prompt and convenient for us. When completing the work, the Hokes were friendly, professional, unobtrusive, and neat. They provided good information and advice about our electrical system as well. I would definitely hire them again for any future electrical work.

We Just moved to NY 3 months ago. I was in need of an electrician. I called several companies with no luck! Except for Kim at Hoke Electric! She returned my call the same day. She was professional, knowledgeable and very kind. They were also very accommodating. They were able to make an appt the next week. They came out and did an awesome job! Kim & Josh are a great team. They are very efficient and clean. I have since had them back out to do more work! I was very impressed with all the work they did in a short period of time. I would definitely recommend them highly! Bathroom Exhaust fan install The business is CASH ONLY as I was not informed until it was time to pay/ had to go to ATM which cost me extra time and ATM Fees. Final cost was $180 over original estimate because they charge by the hour which I was not informed until time to pay. Due to being frustrated I failed to check throughly check the work and the next day the fan motor was very loud. Upon removing the light cover- there was a 1 inch by 10 inch gap and the noise was coming from insulation being sucked through the fan and the fan is not flush to the sheet rock. probably because the supplied template was not used. Not happy Must repair it myself immediately in order to use the fan because they are closed on Sundays. Electrical work was good and everything was cleaned up well. I would not recommend to friends and family.

Excellent work! We were amazed at how much they were able to complete in one day. We had an old failing fuse box that was not in the right location. Hoke Electric came in removed the old box, built a new panel in the right location, put in a new breaker box, rewired everything to the new breaker box, and put all new wiring outside to bring everything up to code. They did a wonderful job. Friendly and hard working. They must have climbed those cellar stairs 100 times that day. Thank you Hoke for such quality work!
