Crew showed up without notice and started work without our knowledge. We were not present when they laid out sidewalk plan and they misread diagram. When I arrived home they were almost completed and I had to stop work and contract the company. They fixed the problem the following day and the work quality was excellent. Crew allowed exhaust from burn a holly plant. Holly has a large burned hole in the front but is showing signs of regrowth. Company agreed to replace it if it does not recover.

Good company it would appear but wanted $2K + more that the AAA contractor we selected. All companies quoted the same material

Simple 1-rm workshop addition to my garage. As usual in NVA, there was little priority to get my job done. They poured the footings crooked (over my objections), so the room wall doesn't line up with the rest of the house. They flashed the chimney incorrectly so it leaked during the first rainfall. They sent a repair person to slather on roofing tar to correct the problem. I ended up tearing off the flashing and redoing it myself. They did a poor job of finishing the concrete floor (very rough surface) and poured the floor several inches out of level with the garage floor. Basic framing was ok - just not very responsive to my wishes.

They did a super job and I would use them again for my next project.

We received consistently friendly and professional service from Holloway. They produced a high quality screen porch for us. There was one mistake in that the lights weren't installed before the project was done, but they came back to finish the job quickly. They also provided sufficient clean up of the surrounding area when requested. All in all a good experience. We would recommend them to anyone and use them again in the future.

Building material were on time, however, dumpter was not which delayed the start of project. Was not informed until I questioned crew about replacement of arbor. Forman did not know either that the material is not available from the company. Forman and crew did a great job and satisfied with the outcome. Would recomend to neighbors.

Poor communication--electrician would show up to install outlets, I wasn't told they were coming or that I needed to designate the spots for the outlets. Also, subcontractors were not used for the tiling--tiling was done by amateurs on staff. I was not satisfied with the floor tiling, Halloway did remove and re-tile the floor but it is still not perfect.

The work completed was of high quality. This company could improve their service if they set expectations better up front. For example, I was surprised to receive a requets in the middle of the job t leave all my windows open the next day. Additionally, they should let you know that they will need access to water and electric.

We met with Holloway Company and were impressed. Holloway was a little more expensive, but also does other contracting that we anticipated needing, so we went with them. The crew arrived on the day they promised and finished all the outside painting in two days. In addition to the trim painting, we also needed to have a few pieces of trim replaced due to water damage. They did an excellent job with both the painting and the carpentry. Not only would we hire Holloway again, but we already have!
