Holman Repairs

Mr Holman came out to my house the same day I called . My neighbor's tree fell on my chain link fence. He reviewed the situation and gave me a reasonable fee to repair the fence. Hired him the same day. John returned two days later and fixed the fence. He was quick, efficient and reasonably priced. I would recommend him and look forward to hiring him again.

Work was not at the quality I expected

Replaced front glass panel in our business. Cheaper than expected and looks great.

I had Fred install a safe rack overhead storage inside my garage. From the beginning, there were ample signs of how costly this affair would be with his inability to identify the joist or giving a clear figure when I asked. What was promised to be a 1-hour job turned into over 4 hours and I had to pay more than what I paid for the safe rack. Mr. Homan took 4 hours for a job that takes less than an hour at max. This is after he promised me that the job is at max an hour if not less when he came in for a site visit. Now this job that would have cost me $130 maximum (safe rack installs this for $130), ended up costing me $250 and the second rack has not been installed as yet. I had plans to get him to do other handyman services, but with this level of pricing, it makes no sense to hire him around. Overall, I am disappointed with his service and baiting me with a $75 low ball offer and eventually charging me 3.5 times the amount because he took the time to figure things out. I did try to reason and work things out at a fair price, but I am not going to take away someones livelihood even if that borders on unethical, and I paid him the full price ($250). I would advise folks to either go with a flat price beforehand or avoid hiring his services. Can not hide my disappointment over this one...

Mr. Holman is a very experienced and patient technician/handyman. He takes time to successfully complete many different jobs which require excellent problem solving skills. I highly recommend him for a wide variety of jobs.

Fred helped my Mom install handicapped rails in her bathroom and did an outstanding job. He was prompt, helpful and meticulous in his work. I would highly recommend him for any home improvement Task.
