Kevin is one of the worst contractors I've ever dealt with. Sold us a subpar product based on lies, than wanted us to pay to fix his mistakes since he gave us wrong amount and 2 different colors of turf. Threatening my husband and children this man belongs in jail.

THE WORK WAS DONE ON TIME AND VERY GOOD--

Overall job fine but had to monitor some or I would have had an area that was built up too high to reposition my cement water drain. I also noted yesterday that there was an area at beginning of drive that needed to be filled in. Driveway does look much better.

Kevin Holten did an amazing job of clearing logs and vegetation that was at least 3-4 feet deep. He responded promptly and understood the need to complete this job timely. He was very professional, got right to it and had the job completed in less than 2 days. He listened to my needs and concerns and was the ONLY Contractor ( out of 4) that submitted a written bid. I highly recommend Kevin for any type of trackhoe, grading or dozer work. He is a humble man that is honest and true to his word. He truly made a very stressful situation simple and seamless.

I needed a patch done on my driveway. The work was done fast, within a day. I was expecting the patch to match better but also understand the original drive was installed by a machine, not by a manual process. The whole drive was then sealed with s costing the looks nice.

This was a very challenging job because of the weather (a lot of rain). Kevin worked weekends got sump pumps and has done a great job trying to get this project done on a timely basis even with all of the difficulties caused by massive rain and wind storm.

Kevin and his team are legit. I had another company quote, and when they heard that Kevin would be quoting later the same day, they literally told us that they would not be getting our business. They were right. The price we got from Kevin was considerably better, and his availability met our needs. He has all of the equipment, and appears to be a master with a back hoe. We ended up having him asphalt our entire driveway, the walkway up to our front door, and a 50' or so pathway on the side of our house that connects the front driveway to the back patio. It came out amazing, with slope that drains all of the water away from the house, which was the goal. Would definitely recommend Holten Construction.

Kevin, owner of Holten, was very pleasant, and very accommodating. He understood my requirements exactly and didn't need any reminders. He and his crew worked extremely hard and did an excellent job. They left the site looking very neat. His price was more than fair. I really appreciated his work ethic and his work.

Nice people, worked pretty quickly. Reasonable pricing especially as compared to others who were up to 2X as much. Cleanup afterwards not perfect but acceptable.

This was a difficult winter job and the contractor tried discouraging me along with others I hired to work on the jobsite. I tried to be flexible with his schedule but attendance was a problem. Hired a different contractor to finish the job and they had to repair some work that was already done.

He does very good work and knows everything! Know what is going on!
