I am completely frustrated by Holu Houâ s inability to allow proper management of the solar system by a customer, such as myself. HECO is finally offering a fabulous time-of-use program (TOU) which would save a customer loads of money if the batteries can store energy during the day and then use the stored power between the hours of 5PM to 9PM. However, Holu Houâ s system is unable to provide this kind of control, and as a result my batteries do not get replenished during the day and I end up using electricity at the most expensive time of day. Holu Hou almost never responds to my requests for customer service or technical support, and now they inform me that it will be at least another 30 days before they can write the software code to enable a simple control process for the inverter. I wish that I had gone with another solar provider which cared enough about their past customers to help them optimize use of the solar system.

Holu Hou came to our rescue when our originally PV company went under. They picked up our project and seamlessly helped to take care of our addition to our system and help to manage the original system as well. They are very responsive when we have any system needs.
