This home is both our 2nd and 4th renovation with NJSA, in 2016 and 2021. In the 2016 renovation, we removed the interior walls in the living spaces (incl. finishing the former garage) to open up the home, and replaced most windows and exterior walls with glass walls as integrated sunrooms. We also built a second story with beautiful contemporary lines and volumes, more integrated sunrooms, two exceptional gable windows and a skylight. All these spaces flow around a gorgeous circular staircase, which is so efficient with space despite being 6ft wide. Every visitor told us how luminous and spacious, great and unique the home already was thanks to these integrated sunrooms. The 2021 renovation consisted of a 58 sq ft addition behind the dining room and cutting the roof of the existing kitchen bump out to achieve one 20x5 conservatory: words cannot describe how such a small renovation in size resulted in such a spectacular transformation of the home! Design-wise, as for many homes, our connection to the backyard was minimal and all living spaces were turned to the street. Now French doors in the dining and kitchen areas open to the backyard, and it is remarkable how the glass wall overlooking our very narrow English garden still achieves these picture perfect vistas and the feeling of living outside from anywhere in the whole living space. The conservatory is on the North side of the home and turned our darkest and coldest side into the brightest and most comfortable one. From sunrise through the French door then trapezoid window, to light pouring in all day long through the tempered glass roof, to glorious sunsets and games of shadow, to stargazing in the magical long clear nights of summerâ ¦ the light and sky views from every space feel magical. We also experienced awe inspiring lightning storms, the soothing sound of rain, and even through tropical storm Ida with the most whipping rain ever, we had zero leaks or even humidity. This home is aptly named Serenity@46, hosting turnkey temporary housing and short term rentals, and all reviews in the past years already described this home as having the most natural light, being the most specialâ ¦ our guests ever stayed in, and yet so much light pours in through the conservatory that the whole home seems turned towards it now. NJSAâ s process is so remarkable too! About 2 weeks before the delivery date of the custom built room, they pour the foundation, next they cut/clear the roof and siding as needed, then puzzle the modular pieces together and connect them into the existing home, and only after all is complete do they seal the interior in plastic sheeting and remove the former exterior wall: our home was never open to the elements or left unprotected. We also never lost the use of the house and all was left clean every day. No traditional framing can be done in so little time and without disturbance. Building inspections are easy too, since this system is pre-built and as depicted on approved plans, but also because inspectors know and trust NJSA. The NJSA teamwork is exceptional: it is obvious they are highly skilled and have been working together for many years. Ryann is also excellent in keeping us apprised regularly. This staff is very efficient and stays on the job, without delays or subcontracting as with most traditional construction. We had such high hopes for this conservatory - and NJSA went above and beyond in their work ethics and service to ensure we were perfectly happy - yet our daily experience is so amazing it surpasses all expectations. We hope you too can install the most wonderful conservatory, but even the smallest addition or replacing (part of) a roof and exterior wall facing the simplest view can completely transform your home! Enjoy the before/after pictures to help envision how your current home could be transformed as well!

This was our 3rd renovation with NJSA in 2017. It was a cookie cutter Cape Cod with a small living area, a narrow kitchen without pantry and minimal storage, and the worse connection to the backyard: you had to go through the kitchen, then 2 steps down to the basement, then out a side door, then more steps down, then narrow walkway before reaching the big backyard. Such a bad setup with barely any views from the kitchen, laborious and unpleasant for any cookout or lounging, and no way to watch kids play or reach them quickly. A common setup in many houses though. A NJSA sunroom was exactly what this house needed to turn it around, embrace the backyard, triple the living space, expand the kitchen with a large pantry wall now that the addition could easily fit seating and dining, flood the home with light and garden views, let all open spaces flow into a redesigned backyard and completely transform how this home lives. I believe NJSA offers the only modular yet custom - not kit - additions on the US market that are truly rated for year-round living, comfortable both in the coldest winters and the blazing sun, which is why you can remove any exterior wall and fully open your house to them. Most importantly, their lifetime warranty and after sale service should you express any concern are unique. No traditional framing can be completed in so little work/time on your home, with such minimal disturbance, with such easy inspections as all is pre-built as on plans, to achieve such transparency without obstruction... Traditional framing is also susceptible to air and water leaks, mold, need regular painting, etc. And at the end of the day, do you want to pay for materials, months of labor, and continual maintenance, or spend the money on the actual product with the highest specs and a lifetime warranty? Although this 18x17, 306 sq ft addition with vaulted ceiling greatly expands the home, the high thermal rating of the frame and windows, and the super efficient heat pump made the whole downstairs so much more luminous and comfortable, including bringing air conditioning into a home that has no central air. The slim structure allows for maximum views all around over the now easily accessible and enjoyable large patio and backyard, all framed by a bright privacy fence. The winter vistas and rainy days are particularly lovely, as you bathe in all this daylight while confined indoors, and as you listen to the pitter-patter of rain with a hot cup of tea. The pictures show you the before/after of how the house sat on the market for 6 months and our renovation with a superb cathedral sunroom on the West side, however the even nicer pictures show you the renovated kitchen and blue feature wall by the buyer Karina, who absolutely loves her home till this day. This Cape went from a small and awkward house with no space to host, to everyoneâ s favorite gathering place!

The first home we renovated with NJSA was our family home in 2015. It is a Dutch Colonial and like many older, small to medium sized homes, the property itself is a nice size but all living spaces were facing the street, without a pleasant flow to the backyard. The added difficulty was that the staircase is on the back wall, seemingly blocking the option to open the living room to an addition, and so the only access to the backyard was through the crowded 6x9 kitchen: so clumsy and discouraging hosting family and friends. The back of the home is on the North side too, making the kitchen feel even more dark and cramped. NJSA sunrooms and conservatories are not only the highest insulated additions, with the strongest yet slimmest profile framing allowing for the most glass and transparency, with hollow beams allowing all electrical to be hidden they are also custom designed and precisely measured to best fit into your existing style, shapes and features. They can be built at any height too, so any space you choose can open to these additions. They allow you to reorient your home to flow into the back or side yards and frame your favorite views, thereby completely transforming how the home lives. And whereas other seasonal sunrooms will feel hot/cold and humid/damp, the NJSA highly engineered systems - with higher ratings than the building specs of most existing homes - will actually make your home more comfortable and efficient. When I researched all sunroom companies in our market in 2014, NJSA was the only one who could build modular additions that were so well insulated they were allowed by code to be installed in open plan! Their architect plans get approved, and highly skilled employees get all inspections passed and permits closed, and thanks to the offsite precision manufacturing, the inconvenience onsite is minimal and soon your home will be open and bright the way families love to live today. The heat pump will allow you to heat and cool the new volume efficiently, and when strategically placed it can also make your existing home more efficient. After the 12x24, 288 sq ft cathedral sunroom addition on the North side of this home was completed, our utility bill was literally cut in half, alleviating all concerns and way above our expectations. When it was time to sell our home, ordinary 2-3 season sunrooms would have been a concern and liability, but sharing the lifetime warranty and specs of this sunroom, and our before/after PSEG bills sold the house! From the moment you walk into the front door, your eyes are drawn to the beautiful light of the sunroom thanks to the structural opening NJSA did manage to create beyond the staircase, the kitchen now appears twice as large and can hold 4x the storage, and the sunroom with vaulted ceilings and full view of the backyard is just glorious. Look at the perfect symmetry of the French doors to the deck, the four equal panels for a gracious, classic look, without obstructions even with the doors fully opened: you can only achieve this with such a tailored addition. This home finally flows beautifully into the backyard, all the daylight and moonlight floods the home, and you can throw all the windows open and listen to the fountain and the children play... This custom addition allowed us to live inside-outside, and finally enjoy a bright and airy kitchen in the center of the home, with 180 degree views from sunrise to sunsetâ ¦ I've done my best to find old pictures to show you the before/after; please excuse my kiddo as he stars in a few of them. The transformation is so remarkable it is hard to understand the before. Still do try, and I recommend you invite NJSA into your home to see how they can transform the way your home lives too.

Thought it pricey hence the 3.5 stars. Excellent in all other aspects. Thanks for the recommendation.

I had a wonderful salesman that’s name was Rodney and a great Team of contractors that got the work done quickly. Rodney walked me through the whole process coming out many times to reassure me along the way. We shared a common bond we both had children with Autism. I understand he passed away suddenly What a loss I will always remember his kindness and help.

Response from Company:

Roseann, Thank you for your kind comments regarding Rodney. He is sorely missed by us all. Delighted that everything worked out great for you and hope that you get years of enjoyment out of your room.

I have a Conservatory. The company representative, Paul, was second to none in his knowledge of the construction of the Conservatory. He also was serious and meticulous in the required repairs. Following the repairs, one could not find any traces of debris or construction material. Paul also instructed me on the proper maintenance of the Conservatory, something I do ever recall from any company. This rating would be higher if at all possible.
