Hired to install a hanging/sliding door and replaced the back entry storm door. They were very professional and completed quickly. They assisted in purchasing the correct sized door for both the storm door and interior door. There was one small problem with the storm door installation, but once the problem was brought to their attention they returned within the hour and corrected the problem. Very courteous and helpful. I strongly recommend them and will be used by me again.

Make sure he does the job as agreed and doesn't make modifications without your consent.

I hired H.M.T. to replace a window, install new trim and repair the side of a cabinet that was damaged by a tenant in a grease fire. The work was done timely and well. My only issue -- for which I deducted one-half star on customer service -- is that they did not show up or call the first time we had scheduled an estimate. When I reached Leonard, the company owner, he apologized and explained that he had a death in the family and a relative in the hospital and that he had simply forgot. Based on his subsequent timeliness, I would suspect that in the future, this would not be a problem, and that I could give him all fives on the next project. I do intend to hire HMT again for any needed future work.

The one week job turned into a two week job. Although it got done. Try’s to save you money on his hourly rate if you agree to pay cash.

Started in October 2017 and just the deck and the French door were done. Poor communications, and never finished the job, many excuses. He had too many jobs going on at one time. He never finished my bathrooms, windows, wires are hanging down, no door on the bathroom, the siding is not finished. He collected all the money but did not finish the job.

I have had a 6' wood shadowbox fence around my backyard for about 7 years. I put it in, the 1st year when spring came it leaned into my yard. My backyard is extremely wet in the spring. I then paid a professional to repair the fence to keep it from leaning, they dug deeper holes and cemented the posts. Next spring it leaned into my backyard so much it almost laid flat. The people came and supposedly fixed the fence again. This spring it leaned into my neighbors yard so far that their little 3 year old could have ran into it and hurt himself. I called H.M.T. and Leonard took a look at it. Leonard showed up the same day, at the time he said he would to give me a rough estimate ( this was a Friday). Leonard explained that the problem was this heavy fence only had the posts 2' down and the frost line in Michigan is 42". The H.M.T. crew arrived at 12 on Monday (like he said), and by 4p.m. they had replaced the 5 posts with 10' 4x4s put 4' deep and cemented with 3 bags of cement each. I am sooo looking forward to not having to worry about the fence this spring, next spring and for years to come! They cleaned up after themselves, left the yard as it was and for a very reasonable price. I will be calling them for any of my future handyman/construction needs!

They replaced and exterior door, installed a bathroom vanity top and faucet and replaced a light fixture. The work was completed promptly and for a fair cost. I would hire them again

We are very early into a complete remodeling job on my mobile home. So I can not comment on quality of work. They seem to be very knowledgeable and very polite. The owner is very up front on cost and what he can and can not do. Very reasonably priced. Employees are trust worthy to have in your home.

Same day service took three days from the time of my first call to completion, waiting on what I though were readily available parts. Other than that the work was done quickly and professionally with no problems. My garage door is in like new working order.
