BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY: I made a big mistake trusting and working with Home Pros America they are a very dishonest company the so-called owners Edmond [Provider Name Removed] and Blake [Provider Name Removed] make themselves pass as multi-millionaires with lots of busnesses around the world they have ads with two other companys I found Roofs In A Box and Connect the Dots checking these companys out Home Pros America has lots of bad reviews with the BBB they are fake and they will scam you for as much as they can and will not pay you that´s what happened to me Edmond [Provider Name Removed] made me believe he was the man in charge and when it was time to pay he tells me that Blake is boss the one that has to pay the invoice when I talk to Blake he promised to pay made me a minimal deposit leaving a balance of $11,600 and now he won't answer my messages my phone calls my emails and you know the funny part about this is that they are mad at me and I am the bad guy they have an office in Georgia and in Florida and beware of their secretaries

We initially had them replace our deck and had them back to do attic cleaning and re-insulating, new roof, windows, fascia and gutters. Everyone from sales to workmen were great.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Responsiveness, Value We hired Home Pro because they claimed to be professionals and responsible, that would be the furthest from the truth. Before going on a 12 day vacation, we signed the final contract, at the time we were guaranteed the job would take 3 days, they started install the day after we left. Well, we got back last night and the deck was half way done. I think it is important to point out this is happening right now, in real time. Once we signed the contract and gave them our money, communication has been poor and the project manager acts as if he is wasting his time responding to the smallest text. I asked him, is the deck going to be finished and his response was **They are supposed to start the framing today** Supposed is not a word that should be used in this matter. Now, someone will respond to this review from Home Pro America saying this and that, just know your excuse does not mean diddly... if I could send a picture of the current progress, I would. I asked the head craftsman was there any complications to prevent the work from being done, he said no...Stay Away from them. I am not as patient at I used to be, seeing two guys slowly build my deck at 9:30 in the morning is maddening!! Home Pros are not what they claim to be. I will update this post once the job is completed. 4pm update, called twice spoke to two different people claiming they would get back to me, nothing. The workers stopped working around noon and never came back

We initially chose Home Pro because our salesperson was able to help design our deck and advise us on the many options we had without being pushy. He came back with 3D renderings that displayed what our final build would look like, which really helped us feel comfortable moving forward. The handoff to the construction team went smoothly, and they started on time. Unfortunately, we hit several unexpected roadblocks during the build process that delayed the completion of the project for some time. However, the management team at Home Pro really came through to address the issues and make sure we felt taken care of, in the end we got our dream deck and could tell the entire team was committed to us 100% of the way. The team that finished the deck was stellar: very knowledgeable, professional, and polite, and promptly addressed any issues that arose. After experiencing their response to our situation, we are happy to recommend the team to others as we know we can trust them to make things right, they are genuinely invested in their customer's satisfaction.

The sales and front-end contracting were professional and very competent. The sales rep. (Ben) did a great job representing the company and assessing my needs. He came up with a masterful plan. Unfortunately, the order was passed on to *production* and fell in a hole. I called several times to get the work scheduled. Finally, when installers were set up, they showed up to do the work. The tracking of insulation through the house was troubling, although he did make an attempt to clean up after himself. They did the work, had a fight by the truck where they shouted (with bad language) at each other that was loud enough for my neighbors to complain to me about the fight and the language. Very unprofessional!!! They brought in, a 3rd guy to reinstall soffits where they had been taken down. It was very slow, but very good quality work. He was professional and skilled at the metalwork. Installing soffits, along an 18 in. section took 6-1/2 hours. He did a really good job cleaning up after his work. I was never offered to see the insulation in the attic and when I tried to look at it after, they were gone, it is all sealed up. I have no way of knowing that they actually installed insulation. Bad practice!

Customers Beware: I was in the market for a bathroom and adjacent room remodel (expecting to spend $25k-$60k) and the sales pitch while sounding great, fell far short of the result. There were multiple delays and the output of their *design services* left me wanting far, far more. As an example, I wanted full design services for a bathroom remodel (which they offered at $1200) and was provided the following results. I was looking to get assistance in getting design preparation to help get my vision for what the remodel would look like and they did not provide what I was looking for and believe they inflated the time used to work on design preparation for 8 hours. In less than 4 hours, I was able to better render my vision using free online software and they refused to refund any of the time paid which was inferior to my own. Beware! They oversell and under-deliver. I am hoping I can save many of you the frustration and delay. Look elsewhere.

Project was a screened porch refresh due to age and rotting wood. I was pleased with the look and quality of the final result. Ben Torborg helped identify what work was needed to replace the damaged and to make our screen porch maintenance free. We started the process late in the season and several times the workers were onsite working thru the snow. Price was adjusted as less work was needed to repair the wood rot damage. I have shared with Home Pro American areas where their process and communication could be improved. Ask for more details about the work to be done, when workers will be onsite, and what they will be doing.

They did a great job and JT came back after job to check with me in person that I was happy with the result. I highly recommend them for your project.

Received initial quote, then they gave me a change order for an additional $850.00. I had to call office begging to schedule the work. On day of job they almost had to leave and reschedule the work when I took day off of work.

Quick to respond

We had insulation and other repairs done in our attic. The price was good and the job they did was great! We are going to definitely use the company for other projects.

Ben Torborg helped us design a wonderful deck to replace our old small deck with exactly what we wanted. The workmanship and attention to detail of the construction crew is exceptional. We feel we have the best built deck we've ever seen.

Thanks to Home Pro, I have a beautiful deck. Our deck started with the review of the property where Home pro won the bid not because of the lowest bid but instead over the expertise exhibited during the process. I want qualified people to do the work. We approved the quotation in late June and were told that jobs were running about 6 weeks out due to a combination of material availability and high demand due to the Covid-19 pandemic. That set us up to have the deck completed by 1st or 2nd week of August. Around the middle of July, I sent an email for job status because the work had not been formally scheduled yet. In my email, I acknowledged the expected completion date and added that â in a perfect world, the work would be completed by July 25th for my grandsonâ s birthday partyâ . I did not expect this to change or impact the schedule, but much to my surprise, the work was scheduled to start Friday July 17th and completed on the 21st except for the railing which was completed the next day. Perfect timing for the Birthday party. So, 5 stars for quality work and fast completion.

Ben Torborg did a great job going over our options for replacing our wood deck with a composite deck. The work was completed timely and we are very happy with the end result. Thank you Home Pro. We would not hesitate to recommend your services .

Good workmanship

Had a good experience with Home Pro America replacing our deck and picture window. Kelsey, the sales rep we worked with, took the time to listen to our specific wishes on both projects. He came up with a window option that was just what we wanted, and more challenging, worked with us on plans to build a deck to the unique design that we had in mind. Use of helical screw piles instead of concrete footings was key to the construction, and resulted in an extremely solid deck. (An added benefit to the screw piles was how easily they were installed, without tearing up the yard making concrete footings - very slick.) Deck looks great, with no maintenance decking and sturdy aluminum railings. Project took a while to complete, about 6 weeks to get started, but that was as advertised. There was one aspect of the decking design that was not done by build crew per specified design, but when called to project managerâ s attention, was corrected with apology and no hassle. Job well done.

We are extremely happy with the customer service and the quality of work done on the replacement of our deck by Home Pro. The first time we met with Chad, he walked us through the entire process â from pulling permits to tear down to rebuild. He was very knowledgeable regarding the variety of material options we had and was able to answer all our questions. Chad communicated with us on a regular basis and kept us posted on the project. The crew who tore down and rebuilt were awesome too. Questions were answered, material was cleaned up and our backyard was free of nails and debris. We would recommend Home Pro to anyone and look forward to using them again on our next project!

I felt Rick was very professional and very thoughtful in how he presented the estimate and how we followed through with the final purchase.

Ben Torborg provided clear and competitive bid with very good detail. HomePro was knowledgeable about cantilevered no post decks. Joe Nelson,project manager, and job site supervisor Rob did an excellent job communicating and working on time at high quality. Our deck is just what we wanted. Rob and Joe also built a very nice step platform from our garage into laundry room. A very nice upgrade to skimpy step provided as built.

Does not want to do the work. They wanted to build the entire deck. The deck was built 30 years ago and we just had new boards put on. They did not want to do the stairs.
