Shane and his crew where very professional and completed the job earlier than expected. Everything was done correctly and the way I asked for it to be built. I was really impressed with the cleaned up job that the crew did. I changed my mind on a couple of things and Shane was really super about the changes. We purchased a home in Boaz, Al in January . At our age, we did not think we would ever purchase another large home or one with two floors. This house failed on both counts. The house also had a very bad flow pattern. However, it was a combination of several previous homes and just seemed to "speak" to us. On February 15, we hired Home Pro Construction to do a renovation to make the home more livable The first thing would be to remove the old stairs and open a door in the wall behind the stairwell. When Shane Hardin came to give us an estimate, he won our hearts. When we asked if it was possible he replied, "anything is possible". We wanted a spiral staircase and an elevator. The spiral stairs had to be ordered so Home Pro started on other phases of the renovation until the stairs arrived. Although they had never installed the type of stairs we wanted, they took on the challenge. One thing we understood from previous experience is that a general contractor cannot make a living doing one small job at a time. We knew there would be times when Home Pro would not be working everyday at our house. There were a couple of waiting periods caused by materials arriving late or being incorrect but these were unavoidable. The important thing is that there was always good communication about whether they would be at our house or not. On the final day of work, we pointed out a flaw that needed correction. Mike talked about a solution and quickly got it corrected. The date of completion according to contract was March 15. The project was completed on March 12. No review is really adequate if both pros and cons are not discussed. The only thing we feel Home Pro could improve on is the finishing touch. There are several very minor things that could have been improved on but when trying to match old with new, it is very difficult. When the elevator arrives, Home Pro will return to help with the final phase. We are very pleased with our renovation and feel we've found home. James and Riki Rager

Shane is very professional and a pleasure to work with. He is a man of his word, a rare trait in todays business world. The job was done in a timely manner, his prices are fair, the site kept very organized and his workers are polite and respectful. I would not hesitate to hire Shane for any job that I might have in the future and would trust him to do the work on a handshake.
