After living in our house for 10 years, we had been looking to repair our leaking roof and cover the deteriorating wood paneling on the outside of our house. We started our search at the 2019 Pittsburgh Home and Garden show. We met with a few roofing companies and decided to go HomePro Remodelers. Roberto met with my wife and I and explained the process of replacing the roof. After signing with them, they got started quickly. The crew that replaced the roof were very professional and courteous. They did a good job with the roof and cleaned up the area before they left. The crew leader Marvin was very easy to talk too and answered any questions as they came up. This year we went through the process of meeting with different companies to get quotes to put vinyl siding on the house. After meeting with Roberto, we decided to go with HomePro Remodelers again since they did a good job on the roof. The day after signing up with them, they were already bringing over equipment. Once again it was Marvinâ s crew who did siding, and they did not disappoint. They were courteous and entertained any of our questions. They cleaned up the worksite and the house looks great. After 2 separate jobs with Roberto and Marvinâ s crew I would highly recommend HomePro Remodelers.

We have a 12' x 24' deck. Having the largest aluminum pergola installed made our deck a comfortable area for the family. It opens and closes with the touch of a button. We let the rain wash it. Covered Patio with Masonry Fireplace If we could give a rating without stars, we would DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Here is a 100% accurate reason. COVID-19 is not the reason, although it was used as an excuse. The main reason is that they do a poor job and have ZERO craftsmanship. Roberto has no vision or knowledge of what it takes to complete a custom project on time correctly. We signed a contract with Roberto on December 23, 2019. The project started on May 13, 2020, and was completed on December 11, 2020 (212 days). The whole project should have taken a maximum of 10 or 12 weeks, and that is being generous. Every step of the project from the concrete forming to the the truss and beam framing had to be done twice because it was done incorrectly the first time. One of his subs even had the nerve to tell me I am so much happier how this turned out the second time. That was after they had to tear down the entire subframe structure because it was done incorrectly the first time. The subcontractors Roberto uses are completely unreliable and unprofessional. One of their subs actually built the roof trusses in our brand new concrete patio and chipped the concrete in several places. The concrete actually cracked right down the middle because it took 11 days for its concrete sub to come back and cut the relief joints. (Relief joints must be cut within the first 24-48 hours maximum). Every step of the way in this project was a compromise of quality and craftsmanship on our part. Our project included a lot of masonry work that Roberto knows nothing about. The electrical part of this project was so poorly executed that when we plugged an extension cord into the newly installed outlet, sparks came out of the outlet. Roberto was also very unprofessional, he yelled at my wife after we refused to give him more money for a job that was poorly done and unacceptable to us. We could go on talking about this whole project and how painful it was to endure. The entire project was documented with images and a diary to provide us with the necessary details. If after this review you are still using Roberto and HomePro Remodelers, (we recommend that you do not) make sure you watch every step of your project and do not give money until the project is completely finished successfully.

The stone you picked is totally different, way smaller and due to the coverage area, you made us take it down several times as you want as tight with absolutely no gaps (2700 stones) took longer but came out perfect. I and installers 100% professional and polite, your wife was yelling at me from another room (5 witnesses) as I was speaking to you about the project, you said quote you would."

Poor quality work. Job is not yet finished after many months. First crew was incompetent and the second crew did not finish. A terrible experience. They used rusted screws on a gate latch hat falls off. I made a grievous error by paying them and trusting that they would finish. Overall, a terrible experience. Most unprofessional. 11/08/2019 Update: he showed up today because I left them R&R in other websites, but I am still thinking the same about them.

Roberto the owner was great. When he came out to give an estimate he was well prepared. He gave a thorough explanation of the materials and the entire process from start to finish. He gave us various price points for the options we were considering. Roberto ordered the materials and got the work permits from the borough right away. I love my enclosure. I get so many compliments. The sunroom is a perfect match to the rest of the house. His team was very professional and answered any questions that I had. The Home Pro Depot office called and gave me updates concerning the weather and to see how the installation was coming. I appreciated that and that let me know they appreciated my business and was taking the work seriously. I would recommend Home Pro Depot to anyone.

They installed a patio cover over my deck. Overall, very good. The cover is great and looks extremely nice. Had it not been for a few glitches along the way this would be a 5 star review. Those issues included the time frame of when I signed the contract and that the work was actually done. The contract was signed in May and work was not done until August. I was told it could be done in 3-4 weeks and understand that the rainy early summer did play a bit of a role, but 3 months was a little too long. They did not submit the application for the work permit until July which caused an additional delay. There was also a miscommunication about the install date and they showed up a day early. All that being said, I would use them again. The workmanship seems good, the product is excellent. I did have a leak in it after they installed, and they came out promptly to fix it. I did and still do have one other concern about a stream of water dripping down the corner of my house from the corner of the patio cover (that incidentally hits the lower gutter and is an annoying drip sound) and I called about it and was told its not a problem and that the water will dissipate into the ground. Not sure I like that answer, as gutters and downspouts are intended to move water away from the home because water dripping directly next to the foundation is not recommended and can result in water entry, mold and dampness. So I have to either put a bucket there to catch water or a splash block.

The enclosure was made by very professional and polite craftsmen. The materials that were used were of the best quality and enhance the appearance of our house. We have received many compliments on the structure and will enjoy spending more time (both summer and winter) on our newly enclosed porch.
