I placed the job on Angi on September 24th and was contacted by a couple of vendors. I asked Home Pro Solutions to provide an estimate, and Marc C came out to my house on Sept. 28th, when he provided me with a quote for $295, which I then immediately paid him via Venmo. He indicated verbally at that meeting that the work would be completed in a timely manner. A week went by without any communications coming from Marc, so I reached out to him Monday the 5th, and he said he would inquire with his supplier. Again, I never heard back from him. So Tuesday at 5:48 pm I was forced to follow up, so I reached out again, and he made up some excuse that the window was delayed in arriving due to bad weather, even though there was no bad weather anywhere near us, but the supplier trucks would be arriving Wednesday morning very early. Wednesday morning came and went, and I did not hear from Marc yet again after requesting a definitive answer as to whether or not my window was on one of the trucks he claimed were arriving at 5 am that morning. A little before noon, I reached out again to inquire if he had a definitive answer regarding the location of my replacement window, and from that point, I have not received any responses.

The contractor never began the job in the first place. He accepted money back in August. It is October first, and nothing has been done. In fact, the contractor agreed to begin today. If I gave him a 5-star rating, he still refused to show up and refused to answer the phone until noon today. He told me that he had canceled the order. And that he was angry with me, which is really funny because I did not do anything but write checks.

No work has been done, waiting over a month for it to begin. Now the provider will not return my calls. I suspect he is no longer in business.

Mark procured glass out of austin and installed the new window within a few hours. We were very pleased as we were nervous about leaving a broken window over night in fear of a break-in.
