Frank and Carlton are EXCELLENT! I needed emergency repair work on a door frame and they fixed it the same day of my call. They are friendly, very knowledgeable and take great pride in their work. Frank and Carlton were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive to the job of fixing a more complex issue with the front door of my apartment where the wood-rotted frame no longer held the door and complicated by the uneven flooring and alignment of the door frame along with less than optimal original hanging and hinge placement of the door long before I ever occupied the 100 year old building. There really was no "easy" fix as a solution, but Frank and Carlton worked with what they had and came up with some creative ideas that was a great result. They cleaned up well and were pleasant and professional. Was it altogether looking like a brand new door? No, of course not, and that was not expected. Perhaps they were slightly under-prepared with regard to "prettying" up the fix at the end of the job, however that is probably the worst I can say as I told them I was capable of doing that on my own. Regarding smaller projects, I would absolutely recommend Handyman Home Remodeling & Repair...as far as bang for the buck, one will likely not do better as their prices were more than reasonable and they were efficient with their time. It's hard to find reliable people who are honest and not ripping you off, which is too often a customer experience with too many contractors, but Frank and Carlton were truly the "real deal" who I felt were worthy of my lengthy praise as I am very pleased overall. - Ben M.
