On-time, in-budget!

I initially went to HomeDepot to replace an exterior front door. The installer they sent said I needed a custom door. I decided to talk to Nate who willing came to my property, measured the door and picked up a standard off the shelf door. Nate met all my tight timelines. He installed the door in a very professional manner and saved me $600-700. I will hire Nate again in the future.

Work well done and on time. The doors look and work perfectly. I had Nate do another job as well and won't hesitate to call him in the future.

We hired Nate for the replacement of a very old, very large window in our new home. He was amazing. He understood exactly what we needed and recommended the right window solution for us. He was very accomidating and left the work area clean after each day. I would absolutely hire him again and have already requested quotes on other jobs. We bought our home as a fixer upper and Nate is definitely our go-to contractor for our future projects.

Nate was very prompt to respond to my initial inquiry and was respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. He arrived and completed the job without delay. Very pleased and will hire him again.

Punctual

Below is a long-winded version of my experience with Nate. But the cliff notes: 1. Work was mostly of good quality, but with a few corners cut. 2. All stages of project took significantly longer than told. 3. Communication was a challenge. 4. Quote was not complete to finish the job - we had agreed I would finish the drywall after the first layer of compound, but he apparently intended me to do much more. 5. He damaged the floor, didn't own up to it, placed blame on me, and dismissed the damage as non-consequential. The nitty gritty: When given the quote, Nate focused on saying why what others suggested was bad advice. Maybe it was true, but it did raise my hackles that he was just being a salesman. But with good reviews, generally competitive pricing, and mostly due to his availability, I went with him. The job included re-framing 3 windows, rehanging that wall's siding/drywall, and re-roofing a small section for a vacant rental unit. I informed Nate that I needed this done asap, as I couldn't rent it out to a new tenant with a wall demo pending. I offered to do the final prep of the new inside wall to reduce the number of days he'd have to return, so he told me that it was a 3-day job. Other projects were underway, but this job was the center project that would be the limiting factor to making it rentable. He said the main delay would be that the windows would take 3 weeks to be delivered, after which it would just be a few days of work. I sent the check & contract in on May 8th, and alerted him that it was on its way. I had heard nothing by May 22nd, so after some hounding, he finally found it a few days later. And then ordered the windows. A month later, after having to reach out again to get a status update, they finally arrived. Three weeks later, work began. The 3 day job, ended up being more like 9...for which I was not terribly surprised. What did bother me, was that he generally only came once a week. Job was not completed until late August!! The strung out pace of the work meant I could not be renting out the unit during that time, or finish the internal prep. I was glad I waited on some of the other jobs until he was done, for he didn't show a tendency to protect the house from his work. While waiting for the bedroom windows to be delivered, new floors were installed in the kitchen. Nate decided to prep the drywall in the kitchen, without putting down a drop cloth or anything to protect the house from the work. As a result, the floors were significantly scratched in multiple locations. Some, quite deeply. When I questioned why he hadn't protected the floor, he put the blame on me for not telling him to protect the floors. And then claimed that when he checked, the scratches were superficial, and he couldn't catch his fingernail. And that he buffed them out. I had 4 different folks test his fingernail theory, and not one of them failed to catch it. Nate didn't accept responsibility. More challenge came when hanging the

Nate did what he said he would do and even suggested improvements. He did alot of work on a deck that was installed by our builder and we finally feel safe! He also reinstalled an exterior door and fixed some gutters. I found him very personable and easy to work with. Would work with him again anytime!

Yes he did a great job

Nate came and demoed the deck on friday the 7th of Aug. was supposed to come and pressure wash on Sat. no show no call contacted him he showed up on Sun. He was suposed to show up on Tues. but it rained. I understand he is at the mercy of the weather. again no call to let me know when he would be back. I contacted him on Wed. Nate was supposed to be here Thurs. Again no show or call. I contacted him again. it is now friday the 14th of Aug. he showed up for ten minutes dropped of a few supplies and left. He didn't bother to let me know whats going on. This job was supposed to be a two day job now it's a week later and I still don't have a deck. I will never hire him again POOR COMUNICATION. I can't rate anything else since no work has been completed. If the job ever gets done I will update this review. Nate finished the job on Aug. 17th 10 days after starting the job. never allowed for a walk around of the job to address concerns. most of the deck looks good but the stair railing is a mess.

Nate performed an excellent job in repairing vinyl siding damage in our house. I would highly recommend him for others.

Nate did a great job! Removed the old framing and replaced it properly with all brand new wood, crushed stone, etc (as the other deck was done incorrectly). Was able to salvage much of my composite decking, changed the design a bit and it looks great! I had a time frame and got it done on time! Great job!

Nate was very professional and did quality work. He was very flexible with the project he was doing for me, and was willing to work with me on adding a last minute door replacement for our back deck. He did a great job, and I would definitely recommend him, and would rehire him for future home repairs.

Nate followed through on his word; he was prompt, professional, knowledgable and experienced. He went the extra mile to research if the window parts/sash were warrantied (they were!) and order replacement parts through the company. He is a hard worker and I would hire him on a heartbeat the next time our home needs repairs.

Nate got us a quality door replacement and did a professional, quality job on the installation. Nate takes great pride in his work. I would definitely recommend him and intend to hire him again.

Nate is a true professional. He takes his time and does great work. He stuck to his estimate and did a great job. He is the only one I would ever call for any type of carpentry work

Actually Nate reconditioned our two garage doors instead of the deck project. He was pleasant to deal with and now the garage doors work great. We plan to use his services again when needed.

My tenants and everyone in the neighborhood have commented on how good the side porches (two story) look and what a great job Nathan did. I will hire him to replace the front porch next summer.
