We had our kitchen remodeling done by Home run construction inc. It was a nice experience. We are very much satisfied with the customer service and best products within our budget.

Our experience has been a very positive one. Working with a management team that is accommodating and sensitive to our needs. What a concept! Their professionalism shows in management, quality of work, and customer service. I was also very pleased with the timeliness of the construction. It was a pleasure to work with Ray Hicks that treated the project and job site as if it were their own property and building.

Home Run Construction, Inc. owner Ray Hicks is a dishonest business person who is performing work without pulling required permits, and giving false information to homeowners. He doesnt show proof of his contractor license information when asked, only that he has one because he "has to". He took my initial down payment and dissapeared for three weeks and would not return my calls. When he finally sent his crew to perform the work a month after he cashed my check, the finished product took nearly three weeks and is awful. They ripped down first fascia because it was actually worse than what I settled on as a "finished product". I've had them out twice to fix the underdecking issues with no resolution but plenty of excuses as to why they can't make it right. They even managed to create new problems we didnt have previously, like water running down the side of my house and a waterproofed underdecking system that is spilling water from multiple places, damaged siding, sloppy unfinished carpentry work, reused materials we didnt agree to (that he promised a power wash could clean right up, but didn't), rust stains on my patio because of construction debris left out for more than a week when his crew abandoned the first part of the deck job, and the list goes on and on. If you decide hire this company be sure to check his contractors license - make sure you SEE it - and verify it with the VA Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. Oh, and dont have any standards or expectations because they will not deliver, or they'll give you a cheap version of what you paid full price for.

I am just finishing my master bath remodel and my new bathroom is absolutely gorgeous. I had gotten a couple of bids and chose home run. Ray helped me make all the design choices and advised me well. He provided me a detailed estimate which we went through and I was able to make specific decisions up front to get s bit of cost down. Sam, Shelby and Lloyd were the crew that did all the work. Firstly they put down plastic and canvas so no damage would be done to my carpets/flooring. They moved furniture to make room for staging, etc. there is a tremendous attention to detail to make it perfect. The project progressed well but did take the full time allotted in the estimate ie 3-6 week estimate and took six weeks. However, this was due to the shower glass sub-contractor, not Home Run. I highly recommend. I have other projects and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

They were polite, on time and had a reasonable price.
