Eddie talks well and promises all the things you want to hear but promises don't get the job done. I got more excuses than work out of him. Always going to be back the next day and that made a three day project into three weeks. The guy that was working for him did all the work while Eddie was no where to be found. I finally told him not to come back and finished it myself. He helped his self to some of my lumber that I had already paid for to do my deck. Had to go buy more to finish it myself. Do what you want but don't say you weren't warned if you choose Eddie Smith and home solutions.

Hiring Eddie Smith to do my home repairs was one of the worst mistakes I have ever made. Made the mistake of paying him before the work was done and then he stopped showing up. I will have to hire another carpenter and painter to clean up the mess that he made. He liked to brag about how good he was but all he did was talk, not work. I would rate him as a F- on his work and his professionalism.

Eddie Smith was very easy to talk to. He explained what needed to be done and did a great job!

He is a perfectionist, he does very good work!
