In April 2026, new zoysia sod was installed at our home in Bluffton, SC by Home South Landscaping. The project included site preparation, sod installation, and guidance on watering and maintenance. Despite following all instructions provided, the sod did not establish as expected. Over the following weeks, limited rooting, invasive grass, insect activity, and signs of fungus were observed. Independent consultations with a landscaping supplier and the sod grower identified the need for insecticide and fungicide treatment and noted that watering guidance may have contributed to the outcome. Third party consultations by the contractor with their landscape supply company and the grower of the sod installed have validated that the sod installation processes followed have resulted in a dying lawn. Kevin is very punctual and communicates well. Efficient and professional with his work and extremely friendly.

Kevin and his Dad Jose have been helping me with yard work for the past four years. They edge,mow,clean up and maintain shrubs. They can always be counted on to be here on time and keep all appointments. I find that they are easy to communicate with Last year I was on a garden tour and Kevin personally applied all the garden mulch by hand so that the garden looked marvelous

Home South Landscaping is very meticulous about keeping our yard looking neat and well-cared for. They donâ t have to be told when to do extra trimming of the bushes and shrubbery but instead do it promptly before the greenery begins to look shabby.
