"I am at a loss for words on this rating! We cleaned only once for this client last July at his small apartment. He requested help only with his bathroom, lite dusting, vacuuming and mopping the kitchen floor. I did not do an estimate in person which was a huge mistake. I was led to believe this was lite housekeeping of exactly what I previously stated. I quoted him $45. When we arrived the odor was almost unbearable. Upon entry there was human feces in the carpet in the hall and living room. the bathroom had feces on the toilet, the floor and walls around the toilet. The build up of cigarette smoke, dust and grease was obvious it had never been done. The kitchen had moldy dishes piled up. The sink had scummy, moldy water with dishes soaking in it. Again it was my mistake for not taking a look at the place before offering a quote and accepting the job. I felt sorry for the man as he should have had assistance, someone checking on him occasionally at the very least. Since it was my error in judgement we did the job anyway for only $45 without any question or discussion as I did not want to embarrass the man. Not only did we complete all tasks he asked for, we went above and beyond cleaning up feces and to clean out his kitchen sink and clean the exterior of the appliances as well as counters and cabinets. I wanted it to be safe and healthy for him to be there. It was clear he didn't have loved ones concerned with his well being. We even organized his shoes, folded up blankets, vacuumed up his furniture and multiple other little extras. Apparently trying to do a good deed isn't always appreciated."
"I do appreciate the compliments but I am confused by the broken items? The client was in the home the entire time we worked. Upon each completed task the client was walked through and shown everything specifically for approval. This was an average sized ranch home with no large rooms. However the bathroom alone took 5 hours to complete. There was tremendous amounts of mold, mildew, soap scum and hairspray film everywhere. I did not want the client questioning what was taking so long which is why I invited her in for inspection numerous times. The client even helped with the hairspray removal. So had anything been broken either the client or I would have noticed at some point during those 5 hours of cleaning and step by step inspection and approval. As for not contacting her with a quote on recurring service; I did call and leave the client a voice message with various quotes based upon different tasks to be included or not. I did not hear back from her and it is possible she didn't receive my message for some reason or another. I have not yet followed up due to my youngest daughter being in a terrible car accident that required surgery. I took time off of work to be with her while she was hospitalized and to care for her once released from the hospital. Please see and take into consideration all of our other excellent ratings and reviews."
"The review states we did "an excellent job" so the 4.5 quality rating is confusing to us? I am further confused how 5 for customer service, 5 for value and 4.5 for quality only totals 4 stars and not at least 4.5 stars?"
"Our quality of work is actually impeccable! The customer had requested a nearly impossible task!! Clean the walls back to a freshly painted state so she would not have to paint before the new tenants move in. The pictures had been on the white, textured walls so long there were black outlines on the paint where every picture had previously hung. We went above and beyond scrubbing the walls 3 different times using 3 different products and methods. Although greatly improved, it just wasn't possible to restore the walls to a freshly painted look."
