They were great! I was beginning the think there wasn't a plumber in the area interested in a small job. I would recommend removing boots or wearing boot covers when doing interior work.

Chris was very pleasant to work with as well as honest and up front about fees, parts, and time needed for repair. He showed up on time BOTH for the estimate and the job day. We discussed his reviews that were here on this service and he was up front and gave his version of the customers comments and I believed him. GREAT Company and service !! Would use him again for sure!

Chris who showed up did NOT know much about plumbing. He made me call the manufacturer to get the details for the wrench required. I gave him another chance, next day he showed up with another professional who was good. But then he charged me 1.5 times the hourly rate. I would NOT recommend Hometown Plumbing.

"I went to his home and he did not have the tool that came with his faucet so that is why I got him to call man. It took 1.5 hours because he had let it leak so long that the faucet was rusted to the sink. I took another man with who was smaller and able to get under sink. He also had a tool that homeowner was missing. I did not charge him for first vist or the tool that came with his faucet that was missing, and it was a 20 dallor tool."

The guy was a real talker I could not get away from him and out of my garage. He was undecided as to what to do. Took up way too much of my time. Then he set the thermo way to low. And three days later I called to tell him that the temp is way to luke warm. Chris said he would sent the repair guy out to reset it, but he never showed and never called.

"Homeowner called me at first and talked about how great my guy was. I talk with her and my tech. He said it was set at factory setting. I tried to call her back to explain to her that state law will not let me turn heater passed factory setting, and she did not return my call."

Chris and Tad came in two days after we called to hook up our faucet, sink, dishwasher, and fridge water supply. They weren't cheap ($85/hour) but they did a great job.

Their initial quote, like that of some of the other contractors I contacted did not include all permit fees and other "external" costs. They did a good job and did the job right (did not cut corners on materials).

I had 6 different crews quote this job. Chris and Hometown Plumbing were not only the most cost-effective, they were the guys I trusted most with my gut instincts. They arrived to do the job as scheduled, and finished in less time than expected. Chris even knocked a couple dollars off the quote, because he said the job was easier than they anticipated. I would certainly call Chris for any job, big or small.
