Homemasters completed work on my roof recently - deep cleaning, shingle work, and a new skylight. Alex and Emilio communicated promptly about everything, including arrival time and scope of work. They did a great job, and cleaned up the roof, and the surrounding area. I plan on working with them again in the future.

I think we hit the jackpot with HomeMasters. After noticing a leak in a ceiling and searching on Angie’s list for help, we got a call from Bill. He was so responsive and sent Jordan out very soon to check on it. Jordan found the problem very quickly which really impressed us. Jordan is a very intelligent and personable man and we have enjoyed working with him. He completed the repairs and a roof and gutter cleaning a day later with his assistant Nathan. A short time later Jay repaired the sheetrock damage from the leak. He is definitely is an amazing pro at what he does! You won’t find any nicer guys. Communication with this company is excellent. Thank you all for helping us.

They were on time and detailed both in their work and their clean up. They were willing to give us a quote and wait for us to save the cash for the payment. It took six months, but they honored their bid. I would definitely recommend them to others.

The estimate was scheduled and done faster than I expected. The crew came out a few days later. They worked quickly and the repairs were done well. I was amazed that they were able to match the sun faded shingles on my roof. When I'm ready to replace the roof they'll be the people I'll call.

We had a sudden flood of water into our family room during a March high wind/heavy rain storm. We were lucky we were home to mop up for several hours during the storm or our loss would have been substantial. We contacted HomeMasters to investigate the failure of our 5 year-old "50 year" roof. The insurance adjuster and Stefan, the project manager for HomeMasters came to the same conclusion: incorrectly installed Air Intake Vents. While replacing the vents and nearby shingles above and below them, Jordan and Lucas found that the nails intended to fasten the shingles to the plywood roof sheathing were not long enough to penetrate the plywood. I decided to have HomeMasters remove both layers of shingles (the original 1995 and the newer 2018 roofs) and re-roof the entire house. Jordan showed me a ten foot long 3' wide group of shingles that he removed by simply lifting one end and pealing it off. Properly installed shingles would tear at the nails and would come off one at a time. The shingles were not anchored to the plywood. The lack of nail penetration was similarly evident throughout the roof. Jordan gave me about twenty-five photos showing examples of this and other problems. With tear-off complete but prior to installing the new roofing, and with no rain in sight or forecasted for several days, the crew went home after a long day. That evening Lucas called us. He had monitored the weather, saw a rainstorm coming, and was coming over to place tarps to protect the house. He finished the job just before the rain arrived. All the workers were helpful and understanding, working "around" issues like the removal and replacement of my TV dish.

They provided good documentation of what they were going to do. They provided credentials. They responded quickly with a quote. Though their quaote did not include the estimated time that they would take to complete the job and added an additional hour on day of job, they did an excellent job. They need to provide sales taxes in their estimate.

Lucas did an awesome job. He worked diligently to complete the reroof of my home. His helper quit after the second day leaving Lucas to finish laying down the whole roof by himself.

Very experienced and professional, as well as friendly and polite. He also did extra work, fixing our automatic light fixture. Again quick and efficiently.

My roof needed to be replaced and I had four contractors come look at my house. Not only was Matt the only one who did not insist on talking to my husband, he was professional and gave the lowest bid. If you are a woman looking for repairs or a new roof, this is the best company in Portland! We are very happy with the roof and now that it has better ventilation my house is much cooler! They also got the roof done within two weeks of signing the contract while we were out of town on vacation, so bonus points for being fast and convenient!

This company was amazing to work with. From day one, our inspection and bid, their employees were professional, kind, and very detail oriented. The team that arrived to do our repairs were so thorough. They went over every detail, took their time and were committed to doing an excellent job. They even recognized that my gutter guard system had been installed incorrectly years ago and spent hours fixing it, just because they wanted it to be done correctly. They left my home clean, picked up after themselves and never once seemed ungrateful to be here even though it was almost 100degrees outside. They were absolutely one of the best crews I've had work on my home and we will definitely be using their company again.

homemasters were quick, proactive and such good workers for building our house! they did our roof, gutters, solar tubes! we just got night lights in our solar tubes and I am beyond amazed at the amount of light that comes in! sooo happy and 100% satisfied!! highly recommend!!!
