I couldn't be happier with the work done to bring this 50 year old house up to code including installing a new electric panel and replacing switches and outlets inside and out. Chris and his crew were prompt, efficient and friendly. Would highly recommend them.

Chris and Brian were very professional, friendly, and responsive to my questions and needs. Very responsive with programming the remotes for the ceiling fans.

The workers were professional, and I felt comfortable having them in my home. They brought my electrical system up to code, installing a new breaker box and GFI outlets.

I met with a half a dozen electricians about the knob and tube wiring in my newly purchased house. Chris and his team at Hometown were by far the best. They were extremely thorough on their walk through and their inspection really helped me narrow down the scope of work. When it came down to the work itself, they did an exceptional job at fishing wire behind our lath and plaster walls. I only had a few small spots to patch (no huge trenches or huge holes in the walls or ceiling!). Chris and Matt were great at troubleshooting unexpected issues and really went the extra mile. I got several quotes and proposals for the rewiring, and Hometown's quote was by far the best and there was no change in the cost when the final bill arrived. I also really appreciate their financing which allows me to pay over 18 months with no interest. I highly recommend going with Hometown.

Great service! Easy company to work with. Had them come out and give an estimate for installing 3 work boxes for ceiling fans. In 3 rooms they had to change the light switch from wall outlet to overhead light for new ceiling fans that I will be installing. They also ran wall switches for me to operate the ceiling fan, so I don't need to use pull chain or remote. Moved furniture as needed as cleaned everything up. No extra holes in walls. Truly professional. I am real particular about the furniture, woodwork (I replaced the cheap pine with Amish Oak that I stained and installed) and walls in my house. No scratches in walls, doors trim or furniture. I decided to cover everything before they arrived, but found out I did not have to do this since they said this is something they always do. If you need electrical work done hire these guys, it is worth every penny!

They came out very soon after I called to scope the project and provide an estimate. The work was done by the same technician who provided the estimate, which allowed the work to be completed efficiently and in accordance with the details we had agreed on. Matt was professional, thorough, asked for my input as the project progressed, and completed the work in the expected time frame. I would hire them again.

This was one of many projects that Hometown Electric has done at our house. Chris has done numerous projects, found issues when he is inspecting and comes to me with solutions on how to fix them. His knowledge has corrected many bad jobs we have had done in the past. If you have electrical issues these are go to guys for it. And we request Chris each time!!!
