Contractor started quickly, finished on time on and on budget. I was out of state and it would have been easy to blow me off but contractor was very responsive and very helpful. I would recommend them highly.

I want to offer my highest recommendation for Gary and the work he does. He is a true professional, from the first estimate to the final tile going down. He recently did some work in my condo during rather unusual circumstances (including a flood and other contractors being in his way). He not only maintained his composure and his work schedule, but also assisted me in dealings with association contractors to make certain I was being treated fairly. The work he did for me was first rate...On time, on budget, and perfectly done. I am extremely pleased to have Gary "on my side," and will be hiring him again very soon!

HomeWork Contracting did wood siding replacement and exterior painting. Gary listened carefully to my requests and descriptions of the exterior repairs, before and during the house painting project. Every item was addressed and repaired to my satisfaction. In a few instances, Gary suggested more skillful improvements to my requests, at no additional cost. The entire crew was courteous, tidy and stayed on the schedule originally presented to me. My house looks better, and it will last through the winter better; I'm glad I hired HomeWork Contracting for the project.

I would not recommend this vendor as a general contractor. Problems were discovered with carpet and electical work. No return of followup calls to try and resolve. I called Gary twice to try and reslove problems discovered after work completed. None of the calls returned. The supervision of the subcontractors was done poorly by Gary. I felt the problems could have been resolved if he had responded back, but once he is paid you never hear from him again. His company maybe good for small jobs, but anything beyond that do not expect that the work will be supervised, or if problems are latter discovered after payment...he will not respond

"Just after completing this project, customer had a problem with the some additional work he requested. Unfortunately, when this problem came up, and he tried to contact me, I had just left to assist in LA when Katrina/Rita hit. With the devastation in the area, we could not communicate promptly. We are currently working to resolve his dispute to his satisfaction."

Left paint drops on walls, on walk and paint cleanup too close to front of house when there was a empty lot next door. Dirt left on floors from boots and machine. Some painters use booty's.

Gary failed to email his estimates to us and when he failed to show 2 hours after scheduled time for origional work date, we called him. He had to "bump" us for some reason. I'm not sure we would have heard from him had we not called. He did show at second work date, and work seems to have been well done.
