If I could give this company zero stars?or even negative stars?I absolutely would.
I initially asked if they could remove a chimney stack from my home and repair the roof afterward, including installing new shingles. I specifically asked if they were familiar with shingle roofing, since the opening would need proper repair. I was assured this would not be a problem.
The owner, George, came to my house but only looked at the chimney from ground level. He never got on a ladder or properly inspected it. Based on that, he sent me an estimate, which I agreed to.
On the day of the job, he sent his brother instead. Unlike George, his brother actually got on a ladder to inspect the chimney?and within two minutes told me the job would cost more because a ?peak? wasn?t included in the estimate. Of course it wasn?t, because George never properly assessed the project in the first place.
I refused to pay more and told them I would go with someone else. They then said it was fine and agreed to

An excellent choice for what turned out to be extensive repair of woodpecker holes under my chimney cap! I so appreciate the clear communication and concise explanation of work to be done. Chris was dependable, reliable and quite thorough, even providing me with photos of the damage done at the top of my chimney from inside the chimney . He came out the same day that I called which was impressive. I know it may have been inconvenient for him but I was leaving town the next day and was in great need of having the vents cleaned out since they had never been done. I think it saved my dryer!

Broke bath room light fixture said they would send in a refund. never happened called company three times. still no refund. so this review cost me $45. I hope this cost them a lot more.

Cleaned fireplace. No mess. Also installed chimney cap. Thought the total price of $275 was a lot, but I had never had this service performed before. Had a little difficulty getting an invoice via email. Took a few tries and phone calls to get a complete invoice. I would use this company again, though.

Abe was pleasant and on time. For less than 10 minutes it was way way too expensive $145. I think he could have "honesy Abe" and said that really didn't need the work. He was very clean about doing his job

Very prompt, courteous answered my request quickly. Very informative. but felt $145. Was a little expensive since it took him less than 15 minutes.very clean , offered to install a spark quard for free.. (quard is $120. ) will check around though since my daughter said she could probably do it although I don't want her up on my roof. Would recommend him if you're ok with $145

He was very helpful and prompt. Scheduler was nice as well. I ended up buying some smoke guareds which he offered to install for free (although they weren't cheap). Cleaned up wel and was on time. HIghly recommend!

They called even before I'd closed the HomeAdvisor window - they were that fast to respond to my inquiry. They're also at least $50 more expensive than everyone else, but I'd booked with them first and kept my appointment. The guy that came out did an okay job. Not outstanding customer service, but okay. I still have heartburn that I didn't book with someone else to save $50 though. When I mentioned that they were more expensive, the response was something like they'd "get the job done right and had years of experience". But, I don't think dryer vent cleaning requires 28 years of experience to get it right, and I regret not shopping around.

"Yes there are Cheaper guys out there, but they use different equipment than I do. Carpet cleaners will be happy to vacuum out your vent from the bottom for about $65 but they can only go about 5 feet up your 20ft pipe. A duct cleaner will charge $95 to blow it out with compressed air, but he may blow you pipes apart. The tools we use to clean your Dryer vent are designed specifically for that purpose. We guarantee a 100% cleaning. Bottom line you get what you pay for. I think $50 is cheap peace of mind that your house won't catch fire."
