Job: Diagnose both: Uneven airflow in ducting, how Cat was getting inside ducting (from outside of home to inside of home). We want to fully resolve! its a matter of energy savings, adequate heating/cooling needed and safety of animals + having safe and sanitary systems. Tech: Tech was kind, cordial and kept us informed. Tech offered to tie up sagging vent crossover and cables as part of diagnostics. Tech also donned those shoe coverings when entering home. All this was very much appreciated! Ratting: Could have given quality of work a 5.0 had a complete end-to-end diagnostics actually been completed. This is critical for a customer to fully gauge and plan around all the needs (which we still don't know, at this point). All three rated areas are represented from our experience mentioned below. Customer Experience, 1st time dealings: a) incomplete diagnostics (claimed insulation is involved), yet we were charged. b) wants to sell additional parts and labor to solve the whole problem that was not fully diagnosed; But, our assumption: is you cannot solve for the unknown by replacing only parts of the known. That is just a baby step. c) most of diagnostics was regurgitating what we had already shared, before diags. Tech made clear customer was wrong about cat in vent ducting. However, since my wife literally had to pull up vent cover in floor ot remove cat on at least one occasion, I don't enjoy being implied we are lying about the issue. d) we loaned a powerful flashlight so tech could see well enough under home. we figured a tech, if not experienced enough, may not think of every tool or variation needed. But, we were not only not thanked for its use, it was also left setting glass face down toward dirt a few times (no respect for property?) but when tech left, super light was never found again. can't prove was stolen, my word against his, but sure makes those video security cameras a higher priority to buy and install, ASAP!. note: i work from home and being in remote mtgs, was unable to babysit well enough. e) Finally, Tech did inform us they do not do any insulation work (i literally was not aware of this beforehand or would not have agreed to diagnostics which would be partially inhibited by the insulation) and that we would have to get another company out here to help. They should think to screen for this since they have limitations the customer is not aware of, up front. ** Basically, we should have hired a very different company to remove all insulation and replace it later. During the gap between removal and re-installation, customer could inspect/repair own ducting ** - We did not have the usual 5.0 experience here. Each job is different though. We just don't think this one got the right, best attention nor was properly handled end-to-end. There was another minor hiccup but running out of space. We hope this helps others in making an educated decision in that big scary lake of who is safe to hire Thx!

If you prefer to support small businesses, keep this one in your favorites for that inevitable phone call! Better yet, keep your system maintained; I have no doubt Hooah would have caught my issue earlier.
