Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this contractor for a full bathroom remodel. Although he was nice and meant well, he appeared to be in over his head. The work was completed in the wrong order: flooring was installed first, and the cabinet and toilet were installed before the baseboards. Despite our purchasing spacers, the tub tile had uneven spacing and grout lines that did not align. We ultimately had to remove the entire upper tiled section, replace the drywall, and reinstall the tile. He also placed tape over wet paint, requiring me to repaint the entire bathroom. What was quoted as a three-day project took more than a month, and time management was clearly an issue. To his credit, the toilet and ventilation fan were installed properly and have not caused problems. However, the delays, poor workmanship, and repairs we had to complete outweighed the positives. He may be suitable for smaller projects, but I would not recommend him for a complete bathroom remodel.

Hosler Home Repair: Reasonably priced. Always punctual. Polite; helpful; cleaned up work area; trust worthy; was able to pivot when something unexpected came up (bc our house is a million years old and there are always things we were unaware of) and was able to get creative and make things work. Jobs look great (doubled size of closet door and installed new doors; repaired window frame that had rotted out from water damage). We?d hire Derek again (heck, we were ready to make him part of our family, lol)

Derek did a great job removing my grounded satellite. No complaints. I will hire him again.
