    I requested a service call for a broken garage door. He responded after hours and was working on the garage door the next morning by 7:45. It was a good thing because an appraisal was being done there was an appraisal scheduled for 11 a.m. the same day. He finished quickly at a reasonable price.

    In short: use this guy only if you re looking to pay $400 an hour for a garage repair and willing to be lied to and manipulated and poor quality work. Otherwise, Look elsewhere. The technician came over and gave me the following quote to replace our garage springs: $89 for the service call. An outrageous $113 for each spring (the same springs are around $50 each online) And a 10% discount. I questioned him about the price of the springs, and he said that he was charging for the service and it would be a time consuming job of about 1-2 hours. And that this was a great price overall. I agreed to the final price of $283 payable with a check only because of the *discount.* Ten minutes into the job, he tells me, *sorry, it s more complicated than I thought, I can only do the job for $325!* Exasperated that he already wasted so much of my time, I reluctantly agreed. Within half hour of his start time, the job was completed. I was shocked. I asked him, wasn t this supposed to be a complicated 2+ hour job?! He muttered something about squeezing me into the schedule (I never asked him to squeeze me in, it was not an emergency!). I handed him a credit card (since I didn t get the discounted rate), and he said he d have to charge 3% on top of the $325 if I used a card. After he left, the garage has not been working properly! It only closes by forcing it or by holding the button down continuously, and George refuses to honor the 30-day warranty as per the receipt.
