Sherwin and Kevin were great! They arrived on time, were polite, and got the job done. I now have a real door between my laundry room and garage instead of swing closet door. They also sealed the hole above the frame. They were aware of the plumbing and other infrastructure of the house showcasing their knowledge. I’ll be turning my DIY list into a House Dr list.

They did great work repaired some serious damage done to the house before our move! On the other hand, very rude, ignorant, and messy. One of the workers was there just to cause confusion. He told me I needed to buy an extra door when the other guys said I didn?t and to top it off he needed acetone and I only had my aloe enriched nail remover which he said was fine. Instead of throwing it away, he left it on my sink and caused a stain by the end of the day when they finished working. I had intentionally blocked my sink off. I tried everything to remove it then asked for advice, you see the response ? unprofessional. I was also promised a matching paint set up and they did not paint match at all. Despite me having my own opinion towards the miss matched wall, my partner was so impressed with their patch work, he wanted them to mount our tvs in a few rooms. We will no longer be hiring them for any service because of this man?s response. Hire at your own risk.

"Mrs. Chavis, I am sorry you had a bad experience with House Doctors. To address the statements you made: I am not sure at what time we were rude ignorant to you. Doing drywall work is a messy job and you are the first person that has complained about us being messy. If it was messy during the process, that tends to happen when we are working, and we cannot always avoid a mess. We do our best to clean up before we leave. We did this work on March 12th and this is the first time we heard that we were messy. The door was a miss understanding with one of the guys, and it was clarified before you bought another door. As far as the acetone on your sink, up until yesterday you have never mentioned acetone before. I know we do not carry acetone, and with the work that was "great work" repairing "some serious damage" we had no need for acetone so I do not know why either technician would have asked for it. As far as the matching paint, you took it to the store and had them paint match it. We had nothing to do with that, and you only bought a sample size which the technicians used all up. If we had a quart size, like requested, they could have painted the entire area and it would not have been noticeable. We even offered to come back and repaint it if you got more paint. As far as my response to you via text message, I stated that I do not know how to remove acetone from a sink and I would have to Google it. We were communicating by text message, I was just responding and had no ill will in my response. We may not have made the perfect handyman for you, but we are glad we could repair the damage for you."
