One-star experience. House Doctor charges hourly and would not provide a reasonable cap, which made a straightforward install feel open-ended and poorly managed. What I expected to be a 3?4 hour job stretched beyond that, and when I raised concerns, the response was dismissive and condescending rather than focused on resolving the issue professionally. The worker also left tools at my home, and when I said I could leave them outside for pickup, that somehow became another point of conflict. After we canceled a follow-up job because the first job was taking too long and becoming too expensive, we were told the worker would no longer work with us. Overall, I felt the pricing structure, communication, and customer treatment were unacceptable. I would not recommend using them unless you get a written quote, clear scope, and firm cost expectations upfront ? and even then, based on my experience, the quality of the work is not high enough to justify the time, cost, or hassle.
