Two of the most commonly accepted standards and inspection guidelines are those issued by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and National Institute of Home Inspectors (NAHI). In certain regions, HouseMaster inspectors also meet or exceed standards established by other agencies such as the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC), the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI), or the California Real Estate Inspectors Associations (CREIA).
