About us
Home Inspections: Unable to do warranties or guarantees Buying a home is one of the biggest investments that people make in their lifetimes. Our home inspectors help you make the right decision by doing a thorough inspection inside and outside the home. We work with buyers or sellers who want a professional opinion on a homes condition and an assessment of any deficiencies that may exist. A written report is provided on site. The inspection is a visual check of accessible areas and includes: ‚• Structural condition, foundation and basement. ‚• Electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling. ‚• Condition and age of major systems. ‚• Kitchen, bathrooms, and all appliances. ‚• Interior - ceilings, walls, floors, windows, insulation and ventilation. ‚• Exterior - roof, gutters, drainage, siding, and grading. New Home Inspections When building a new home, our inspectors can help ensure that your home is completed according to professional standards. Usually, this is done in two phases. A Pre-Drywall Inspection examines completed framing, foundation, plumbing, electrical rough-ins, and heating and cooling systems. The Pre-Settlement Walk-Through is a thorough examination of the completed house. More than two inspections can be performed during construction if desired by the buyer. Existing Home Inspections When considering an existing horeap rehab home may be the solution to getting desired features at a affordable cost. A rehab home loan can also be used when refinancing. House Remedies provides inspections, cost estimates, and advice on home rehabilitation. We work with homeowners, new buyers, lenders, realtors, and investors to help determine whether a house can be improved to meet your needs. These services are provided for FHA 203(k) loans as well as conventional rehabs. Feasibility Studies and Work Write-ups Home buyers can order either a feasibility study or a complete work write-up. The feasibility study is a home inspection with a verbal estimate of repairs to help the buyer decide whether to proceed. The complete work write-up provides both the home inspection and a written report with detailed repair lists, cost estimates, contractor bid forms, and other documents needed for loan processing. Fire Alarm Systems: House Remedies provides fire alarm systems and complete testing to insure the integrity of the system in the event of a fire. We can accommodate new, existing, and remodeled homes as well as homes with new additions or outbuildings. House Remedies can perform general repairs as needed, and also offers 24 hour fire protection emergency service. Customer Service: Customer service is important at House Remedies. When you call, our staff is available to answer questions about the inspection process and help with home rehab and other inspection issues. At House Remedies, we want to help you make the right home buying decision. Call us for your home inspection today! References available upon request.
