House Spek

They replaced damaged ceiling sheetrock in multiple areas, repaired areas that needed it due to foundation settling. Painted ceilings, rooms and woodwork. Did a great job and we are very happy with the final look. They are returning in a couple of weeks to paint the dining room.

A positive is the carpentry/interior paint looks great Project took twice as long as quoted. I was told 5 days took 10 due to late arrival everyday except 1st day. There was never a crew 1 maybe 2 guys a day. My son took off from work to b there one day 2 men worked 2.5 hrs left for lunch never came back. After the 5th day completion was always ?tomorrow?. On last day during walk through I pointed out small items not completed, either ?that wasn?t included, I will check or I didn?t have what i needed?ex. I bought a door for AC UNIT it needed to b cut to fit, it was installed without a handle to open. My bad I bought a door knob so a hole needed to be cut. Some face plates for light switches/electrical outlets were left off. They lost window sensors for home alarm. There?s a 1.5 inch gap between wall and brick on side of fireplace ?(not included)?. So why 2 stars because as a paying customer I shouldn?t have to wait on you/your workers every morning if you tell me your workers work 9-5 then showing up 10-11 am is not acceptable but then they leave promptly 4:30-5. If there was a crew working my drywall could?ve been completed on time, with 1 or 2 guys working 3-6 hours/day hindered timely completion. In their defense my son asked them to paint attached living room with same paint as hallway which I paid an inflated price for which adding 1 day extra was sufficient. They told him they would paint baseboards ( not replace because not included) they didn?t paint them so they don?t match. So now I need to hire a handyman to complete minor work that I feel could?ve been done since I was inconvenienced and spent extra time in a hotel awaiting completion. These issues were discussed with Jesus (House Spek) when paying him so he?s aware his company?s customer service needs improvement as well as his time/crew management. I expected his company to do my flooring but decided to part ways and seek another contractor since I don?t want to be out of my house for weeks waiting for flooring to be completed.

Very easy to get along with in estimate and the actual work!

Im impressed with the high quality work!!!

Hired company to paint entire interior of 3600sq ft home. Delays during freeze expected but afterwards they would show up late and worked with fewer men and fewer hours. We were more than tolerant. One day they failed to returned with no call. Wife called and they pleaded a flat tire and promised to be at our home at 9am prompt. Both my wife and I work from home. An hour and a half late the next day and I asked Miguel (foreman, owner?) what happened to 9am. All I got was a stare and he said my phone died. I was troubled by the attitude but we are in the middle of having the entire house painted and to top that off we hired them to replace all of our flooring downstairs. One item was to replace a door that had damage. For two days he said he had the door. When inside I asked again where the door was. I have it. Well, where is it because its not in the truck. I said I have it, what is your problem. Still several things to fix and paint, the floors, thankfully, have not been started. When I said what the problem was and said I had been more than patient, he held out his arms and told me to SHUT IT. IN MY HOUSE! The arrogance of this jerk, He was told to leave. I do not know in what world someone thinks that they can behave that way, especially a business owner and someone you pay well to work for you. Unprofessional does not even begin to describe this guy. If I could give a lesser score I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I picked them based off of reviews and I am glad and satisfied with my choice. If in doubt, call them up and ask for an estimate, they are reasonably priced yet still top quality work. They did indoor paint to include all doors, baseboards, and some drywall repairs. My home looks really good and ready to sell! Thank you Miguel, Jovana, and the rest of the team for your good work and and honest business practices.

I hired House Spek to paint the entire interior of my home. They used high quality materials and the work was outstanding. My home and especially my kitchen looked beautiful when completed. They did all repairs as requested, and quite a few others I was unaware of without being asked to do so. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

They did a perfect job! They were very careful with the furniture in the room and were fast and professional. Iâ m very happy with my decision to have House Spek paint my ceiling!

Most reliable, honest, caring, hardworking professionals ever!!!!

Jesus never finished the job. Left a closet unpainted along with a window frame. Never returned my texts. Left a mess of paint materials in my garage. No response when I asked him to remove them.

Good work. On time. Thanks

Housepek repaired my drywall in my living room and kitchen. They also painted everything and it looks awesome!!!

s. wilbanks in sheldon, they are a++++++++++++++ to work with painted the inside of my house in 3 days excellent work

This is a very reputable company and they do superior work. If you are looking for someone to come out and give you a fair bid, perform the job in a quick turnaround, and follow up on the work- Then this is the company for you! I don't know how anyone could possibly rate their work as anything other than 5 stars. :)

Excellent work!

!

Top of the líne company. Perfect painting.

Jesus and his crew were nothing but fantastic through out the process. Showed up on time, high quality work and very professional. We had an amazing experience with Housespek. Highly recommended!!!

Very professional, on time, awesome customer service could not ask for more. Amazing experience with HouseSpek, I will use them again in the future.

Our money was wasted the four weeks they were here I don't know what they did out there but they didn't work. They gave us a timeline of the week and a half it would be finished they never showed up the same time they never left at the same time. There was no customer service. We're trying to find someone else to come finish the job some of the sheetrock was not even screwed in. Some of the sheetrock was not taped just mud slapped on. These people had no idea what they were supposed to be doing I seriously don't think they had ever done sheetrock before. It was a nightmare from start to finish. All this guy could think about was where's his money he was constantly wanting more money. We paid him in timely quarterly payments. This went on for over 4 weeks my husband did a walk-through twice some of it they did some of it they never even touched. We just wanted them gone. We realize they were not capable of doing this job.

The guys did an excellent job, could not ask for any better.

I was so pleased with hiring Houses Spek to paint my house! The end result was beautiful and the work done was perfect! We are already scheduling another job!
