Welcome to HouseWise Inspection, LLC. My name is Russ, and I have been inspecting homes for 15 years, 4 of those years as an insurance inspector prior to establishing my own business. As a NYS certified Home Inspector, Mold Assessor, and Pest Inspector and NACHI certified Infrared Thermographer. I also test for radon, take water samples for lab testing, and perform well flow test. My knowledge base and attention to detail is a great asset to you. My allegiance to you as the home buyer is to find all potential issues with the home prior to closing and provide you with a detailed report. Russell absolutely went above his step of duty. We found black mold in an interior wall of our master bedroom bathroom. We were having headaches, nausea, and breathing issues. Russ, moved his schedule around to get here the next morning and expressed highly not to sleep in that area when speaking to him that evening. He is professional, knowledgeable and experienced in his field. After reviewing the whole house from the crawl space to attic, he took his time to explain his findings and answered all our questions. With the severity of black mold he had our report completed and emailed to us the next morning for our insurance company. We Highly Recommended, Russ! A big thank you from us!

From the minute Mr. Melville picked up his phone to talk to me I knew I wanted him to do our new home inspection. He was friendly, polite, and extremely knowledgeable. I called Russ at 8 p.m. asking if he could do a home inspection the following day. He was extremely accommodating and was able to do this on very short notice. Russ was very personable and did a wonderful job answering our questions. His inspection was very thorough and he spent quite a bit of time at the house going over every detail.
