Communications were almost non existant, ivwas never contacted when there was a change to the order so materials were installed without approval from me. work to flooring kitchen appliance pipes were not completed as stated kitchen floor was covered with new vinyl over old and left hole where there should have been new floor board Constant excuses as to why workers could not and in some cases only showed once or twice a week. Nothing was covered during painting which left blotches of paint on furniture and surfaces There was so much wrong with this venture of restoring a small 2 bedroom house resulting from water damage which took over six months to complete It appears the bigger the job the more compliant and complete it is, while smaller jobs received e less attention and only cover ups instead of quality work which should be evident with EVERY job regardless of size Insurance estimates for a dumpster for debris was never ordered instead debris was piled in my back yard for days to weeks until I had to complain to get it removed. What a nightmare I am a senior with renters who were living throughout this ordeal and were never there during the day therefore anything found incomplete was blamed on the renters This is one company who may have some fair responses but has proven to be selective in who receives their best effort for the money If you are not portraying honesty and fairness in ALL business dealings and cannot handle the work load maybe another line of work might be in order I am so sorry this was such a disaster however I would recommend being available for daily monitoring of work to receive fairness Had to hire another contractor to complete or repair incomplete work

We are sorry that you feel you had this experience with our company. Often, we work with investors or new home owners on properties that are in major disrepair and are truly uninhabitable, but seldom do we encounter projects where these types of homes are being rented to others. We at times do encounter unfortunate situations with landlords who have allowed a home to deteriorate beyond the point where it is reasonable to allow tenants to still be in the home. This small job was rebuilding much of the home including restoring running water, restoring heat in the home during the winter and repairing years of neglect. It was very upsetting

Bobby and his team did great work painting our house before we moved in. He came out to the house to appraise the job. His team patched holes and painted the entire house, including ceilings. They completed the job on schedule and nearly spot on the initial estimate. Then, after we moved in and replaced a few windows, his team came back out to perform touch up work around the windows and from nicks that happened during our move. We will definitely consider House to Home Services for other jobs.

There are four key areas that we feel House to Home Services can improve. 1) Keeping the project schedule on track. The project took significantly longer than projected, a key contributor was prolonged periods of inactivity where we felt that our project was not the team's priority. 2) Cost. The project ran significantly over budget. Granted, there was more work required but a lot of these could have been identified in the walk through up front. 3) Attention to detail. They did come back out to fix issues but more attention to detail up front will go a long way to making the overall experience better. 4) Communication. Granted, I work days and may not be available for voice calls but texts work. Clear communications prior to any work being accomplished and regular updates on progress will make the customer feel as though our project is a priority for your team.

Contractor was fantastic to work with from start to finish. Our basement had flooded and been torn totally apart from the water remediation. H2HS put it all back together and did several other side projects for us on time and on budget. Would highly recommend!

Working with Bobby and his team was a pleasure. They arrived on time mapped out the job, which took about 4 days---4 days less than I planned for. They handled everything from moving furniture to cleaning behind themselves. And the team was pleasant to work with.

Communication is exceptionally lacking, quality of work marginal at best. Went with contractor due to ratings - HIGHLY disappointing. Crew failed to show up to job X 3 weeks. Received every excuse from mechanical trouble, health and finger pointing why work was not completed and crew not present to work. When calling or texting to inquire on management of expectations, rarely received a response. We are expecting a newborn in less than a month - the emotional turmoil and having our place rendered inconvenienced, was disappointing to say the least. Subcontracting was poorly handled and lead was rarely on site. Final payment was expected prior to all work being complete on punch list and inexcusable craftsmanship left us scrambling to resolve issues with an exceptionally limited time constraint and stressed to complete despite given five weeks to complete putting up the framing and sheetrock for a nursery. Bottom line up front - skip this contractor and look for someone more responsive, resourceful and professional to complete your project. I have no doubt that perhaps at one time there were good intentions from this contractor, but unfortunately our experience was exceptionally horrible and continues to be so after the work was left undone and we were gouged.

Communication with our clients is key, and we provide daily updates, in-person visits, and extensive phone calls to discuss the work and expectations. We understand that every client has work, family, and other obligations to manage, and we do our best to accommodate those. Equally, our teams are made up of men and women with families and young children, who have the same obligations and issues that arise. Just like we do our best not to disturb the lives of our clients after hours, we use those same hours to spend time with our families. This means that we do not always respond to repeat phone calls after 8pm. All phone calls and requests are then returned, in a timely manner, the following day as is appropriate. Final payment is never expected prior to the completion of any project, as stated in our written and signed contracts. Our contracts clearly outline expected timelines, changes to the scope of work, and all payments. We are extremely focused on keeping to the contracted schedule, but as project changes are made, the timeline often adjusts accordingly. In this case, that meant 1 business day, despite multiple project adjustments from the client. We hold ourselves accountable to a high level of integrity and respect, and expect the same level of respect from others. Not honoring a contract and avoiding payments happens more often than it should in this industry and we think it is always better to communicate that in advance rather than create issues at the end of a smooth project. We appreciate all our clients' feedback and use each review to improve our work to ensure that our results and our processes are truly superior.
