Hired this company in May paid $144,000, and this man done left my house all tore up, they painted the house and the workers never came back I call every single day. He ghosted me.. please don?t b a victim I literally cry everyday.. it?s July still nothing.

Chris Bennett was paid 57000 to complete a whole home remodel that included 3 bathrooms and new floors in our entire home. We signed a contract and made a down payment. Work began promptly and to our satisfaction. Chris asked for more money to buy more materials and we agreed. After we paid him, work stopped and he never returned. He made several promises to return and finish the job for several months and never did. The contract stated 4-6 weeks to complete the project. It has now been 6 months and he has cut off all communication. He left our home with ripped-up floors and only one working bathroom.

I wished I would have researched more before hiring Christian and his company to remodel my home. He did not complete to job or attempt to reimburse Me for the unfinished project. My kitchen counters and backsplash were to be completed by Thanksgiving of last year. Ever since He breached the contract communication has been nonexistent. I had to pay the stone company directly to finish the work Christian was paid to do. He lied about securing the material, setting the delivery date, and the installation date. He is so unprofessional the stone company will no longer work with him. Too many unpaid jobs. Save yourself the stress and hire someone else.

Unfortunately, this project had many issues. The job started a week later, and communication to warn us of the delay did not come until late morning of the original start day. Calling their 24-hour helpline was of no help. Only one person on the work crew spoke a little English, and he was not on-site most of the time. This made it difficult to ask questions, convey our preferences, and simply have a friendly conversation with the men working hard in our home. Their foreman spoke fluent English but did not show up until the fourth day when we insisted he come out. The foreman stood in my house and said, more than once; you look stressed; when the T-molding in one section could not be re-used, they replaced that section with the new T-molding we purchased ahead of time, and did not replace the other sections with matching T-molding. Had the original T-molding been available for sale, this would have been a non-issue. Because it was clear, they had no intention of doing further work on the T-molding, we had to point out that the other sections did not match anymore, and they needed to use the rest of the T-molding that we had already purchased. We asked them to seal the tile; however they put all the appliances back in place, then sealed them around them. So we had to have them come back to pull the appliances out of the way to seal where the appliances lived. When we pointed out the gaps between the baseboard and tile, we were told it would cost extra to have them install a quarter-round to hide the gaps. Never mind the fact they should have pulled the baseboard down, run the tile up to the wall, and reinstalled the baseboard... or simply measured the tile better, so we received an extra bill for that installation. We then pointed out that the color of the quarter round they purchased did not match our baseboard. We were told if we wanted it to match the baseboard, we would need to have a painter come out, and there was an additional charge for that, too. The upcharge was absurd, and we had to negotiate it down. They gave us an estimate of 4 - 6 days to complete the project, but it ended up taking 8 work days. It might have been 7 if on one day they had shown up to work before 2:20 PM. Overall, the inability to communicate proved to be an important issue, especially when they were cutting corners on the work. Their cut corners also led to extra charges, which we only paid because we wanted the frustration to end. We would not use Houston Floor Installation Services again.

We are preparing a lawsuit against this fraud company. Paid this liar 32k for trash work. My shower is leaking to my subfloor ( additional 5k to fix) my floors are trashed (tile work and laminate in horrible condition). This man has several pending lawsuits against him. Check BBB and Yelp (Google reviews are fake). Stay away from this con job, Christian V Bennett. Read the bad reviews on Google. Looking forward to exposing this fraud. I have a full video timeline, text messages, live video, and copies of contracts (he broke) as proof of this review.

Do not give a deposit because Chris Bennett will use the deposit before the work is even started or render. Chris will lie about having an office and 19-29 people from staff and he has no staff. Money was given on Dec 03rd and he never started the job he initially was paid off and referred by Angi's list.

Arrives on time and worked late to finish.

Very prompt and professional quote. Contractor was prompt to arrive and always working until I forced him to take a break and have some food. Very good company hard to come by these days.

This company offers so many useful services. I have used them twice now once for drywall work and another for painting. Both times they were great. They are efficient, show up when they say they will, and produce excellent results. I canâ t say enough good things about their work. I will absolutely use them again and again. I know theyâ re a company I can trust.
