Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
Gathered estimates from several roofing contractors before deciding on Howard & Sons Inc. Not an easy nor stress free effort. Chose Howard & Sons mainly because of their representative Cesar (a.k.a. Ignacio Cesar Peinado) who was both very knowledgeable, professional, and very polite. We'd had a roof leak which damaged the interior walls with water stains. Appreciating how difficult it can be to diagnose a roof leak, Cesar's skill in finding and explaining to me the location and cause of the leak was key to my choosing Howard & Sons. Repairs included replacing the previous headwall flashing (which had been installed incorrectly by a previous contractor or the builder many years ago), and the treatment and painting interior walls. Both these effort were done by a great crew, i.e., Miguel, Antonio, and Jacob. Very professional and expert in their work. Miguel on the outside headwall flashing, and Antonio and Jacob inside on the drywall painting. As near as I can tell, both efforts were completed in an excellent manner. I was especially pleased with Miguel who afterward showed me just how the old headwall flashing had been installed incorrectly, and how he had installed a proper fix using a wider, one-piece, metal flashing. We are very pleased with the results. And we're also very appreciative of Cesar's efforts and attention to hold down the final cost.

After several bids we decided on Howard and Sons roofing. They included upgrading our old outdated vents with a ridge vent and low profile vents. Ignacio Cesar Peinado was very professional and took the time to make sure we understood everything. He worked around our solar company scheduling and his staff were on time. He provided communication throughout each phase of our roof replacement and even provided cool drone photos upon completion. He was always available to answer any and all of our questions. I would highly recommend Howard and Sons roofing.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
Cesar was very honest and displayed a lot of integrity. Instead of providing a bogus quote for work we did not require, he suggested that I invest about $25, some elbow grease, and and hour of my own time to fix the problem. He even provided a link to a you tube video demonstrating the procedure. Thank you!

Howard and Sons was very polite, caring and proficient. The technician Cesar was always making sure we were happy with the job. We never realized how much work replacing a roof was and Howard and Sons made it very easy for us. We never had to leave the house as the noise was a lot less than we expected and we were never bothered by the work or the workers. We would highly recommend Howard and Sons to anyone looking for a new roof or roof repair. The entire team was great!

What a great job Howard & Sons did for my roof leak in east Chula Vista! Awesome company. Cesar Peinado, H & Sons San Diego County Regional Manager, a veteran like me, was very professional and extremely helpful, he and his team did a very thorough roof inspection and found the true source of the leaks (which the solar company had not). Cesar provided great details and pictures. He responded at all hours to my texts and emails. He saved me money by creating a plan so only the necessary parts of the roof needed to be replaced, and even helped speak to my insurance company with me, which resulted in me getting reimbursed for thousands of dollars more than they previously had told me. Then the lead installer, also named Cesar, came out and did extra things like chalking a line and meeting the solar people (who had to remove and change solar mounts) so they did their job correctly, so the roofing could be done right. All the Howard & Sons folks were great to work with and very polite to my family. If I could give a rating higher than 5 stars I would!
